To be honest I went in for a box and some spray paint for my sons project. Let me just say I came in contact with 3 different associates and they were ALL RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL at ALL!! I will never come back here. I’m pretty much convinced it’s because I’m black. The first add ovulate was helping someone else ok I get it but all I asked was for the isle number. He walked away SMH. The second mumbled with his head down when I asked where the spray paint was. Then when I told him I couldn’t hear he pointed and said next isle. Very rude. The third was the checkout associate. Everyone was confused about where the line started and when I asked her she just pointed at the circle on the floor. AWFUL SERVICE ALL OCCURRED 8/24/20 @ 12:30pm

Although a Consistently busy store, the hard working staff and the way the store is run seems super smooth and fast paced.

Vivian the Cashier, went Above and Beyond the call of Customer Service. Impeccable Professionalism and Attentiin to Detail. Very Friendly. Felt like visiting Family. (The Good Ones)

People that work here do everything to make people shopping here feel like family and that is amazing!

Just like all the others- no one greets you, no one asks if you need help, and if you do ask for help you either get one of 2 answers: I’m not sure or I don’t work in this department.

The store is always well-stocked. Items are easy to find. Staff is always very helpful.

Tony, Angie and Anthony were so helpful and kind! I really had a better experience today once I encountered these individuals. They took the appropriate steps to help me get my project complete and provide excellent customer service. They engaged and asked me how I was too and made me feel like I was in good hands. Way to go!

we shop at this store on a regular bases. I can say the experience is always excellent. When we need help in understanding how to do something or where to find something there is always someone nearby

This Home Depot is AMAZING! ...The cashier that helped us today was super helpful and friendly. The store manager, as well, right away checked if our product we wanted was in stock and checked prices. They were fast, friendly, and helpful. . .What more can you ask for. When at the Hawthorne store, there are many extremely helpful employees, especially Dana, Ken, Carmen and Louis. Always a pleasant experience!

Do not buy a custom door from Home Depot Hawthorne. Their staff is poorly trained, non-responsive and inconsiderate. Their products are marginal and their attention to detail is miserable.

This Home Depot staff is amazing! During this crazy pandemic and being a front line worker. I am pleased to say that my visit to this Hawthorne store was a breath of fresh air. I found all the products that I needed to help an elderly neighbor clean and exterminate her house. The store was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this Hawthorne Home Depot to everyone. God bless them all!

Amazing help from Employee Brian in the plumbing department. He took the time to help us pick out the proper materials, cut our PVC pipe, and basically assembled our project there so that we would know what to do when we got home. A great guy!

I am an active Carpenter (CapoCarpentry.com) in the South Bay of Southern Ca. I visit the Hawthorne store nearly 4 times a week. I love this store and it's employees. There are very few times that the store doesn't have what I need. Likewise, the employees that I source there are always helpful and knowledgeable with what I seek. Thank you Hawthorne Home Depot for being a great aid in the success of my Carpentry business!

This store keeps their regular items in stock, and also has great seasonal items and plants. I have shopped here since they opened and find service from employees excellent. They know the items well, or if they don't they find someone that does. Even on very busy days, like today, they were helpful and knowledgeable. The store is well maintained and I have always found employees to be friendly.
