How do I know if the tool I want is available?
Stop by the Hobbs Rental Center to see what's available. You can also call first to inquire about a tool, or visit our tool rental page to see if it's offered at your store. If it's not, check another nearby store or reach out to our Rental Center associates to learn where that tool is available. Can I rent a tool for an hour?
Tool rentals start at four hour time slots. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small home improvement projects may only require a rental for a few hours, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the day, week, or month, too. If you need it longer than anticipated, call your Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I return the tools?
It's fine to return the tools early if you finish your project sooner than predicted, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off any built-up dirt from the tool as well. If you need them longer, call your rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
Do saw blades come with circular saw rentals?
Yes, power saw rentals often come with blades, but we recommend that you get your own. You probably won't get a sharp saw blade that comes with your rental. However, you might get lucky and have a sharpened blade on the saw. As there's no guarantee, purchase a suitable blade, just in case.
