After a huge sale on bags of mulch, the loaders quickly took off when they saw,my huge load. Luckily, my kids were there to help but, it was unsettling to see able bodied employees, letting women and elderly men load their own loads on rickety pallets Selecting who they wanted to help and who they didnt. I showed up 3 times for loads and each time they made themselves scarce. I thought is was by chance but, I found it was not by accident. My kids actually offered helped another elderly man who tripped walking on pallets but, it was his last load.

I needed help checking out when my products wouldn’t scan correctly and the prices were incorrect at the self checkout. Becca noticed an issue and politely came over to help. After just a second she had me selected for the correct product scanned with the right price and all set to check out. She was happy and not pushy and quite helpful. She even asked if I needed anything else before I left, which surprisingly to me I had forgot something. She made my chore of a problem a quick fix and with a smile. I greatly appreciated her help getting me back to a critical job.

The sales people are always friendly and extra helpful always making my shopping experience pleasant.

I had some questions about flooring . Flooring associates walked by me no hi but Marie stop smiled said hi and answered all my question .

I have purchased several products from Home Depot in the past year . I recently had a refrigerator delivered and the delivery guys had no trouble getting into my basement. They also hauled away an old washer and dryer through the basement stairs. I ordered a new stove which took 2 months to come in. Today was delivery day and this delivery team only attempted 1 time to get new stove down the same stairs that another delivery team got a new refrigerator in and a washer and dryer out of without incidence. I gave the delivery guys a suggestion that they should tip the stove the other way and have the bottom go down first and was told by the gentleman " are you telling me how to do my job ". They obviously didn't feel like working today. I will never spend another penny at Home depot.

I am working on a public art installation made of lumber and Oscar in the Johnston RI store was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable in selecting a product with the desired grain and wood tone. I’m excited to start my project and want to share a photo of it when it’s complete!

Why do employees ask for a "good" survey when they just stand at the "self checkout" talking to another employee? Really? We do "YOUR" job, and you want a good review?

I am glad I was able to buy the 4 gal Ridgid wet/dry vac there. Easy enough for me to handle. The store was clean and employees eager to assist you! Do check lids for orange 5 gal buckets if you need one. None of the ones I tried fit. However, the black lids fit on the white 5 gal buckets!

The manager was Kathy so very friendly professional went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and Henry an associate was also just as friendly professional these two individuals are an asset to home depot

Tall guy with tattoos working out of the paint department refused to help me find the person working the section I was in. He told me it’s not my department and not my problem. Refused to give me his name and walked away. All I asked is if he could get me help in the windows/doors section because I saw him with another customer.

There are 3 things that have gone down hill in the past year or so. This is the messiest store in the area. The rental trucks take up all the parking in contractor area. Pricing for bigger spenders should be considered. Bidroom doesnt help much anymore, meanwhile HD rakes in record profits. Think about the clients that pay your bills, they may not be around when times inevitably get tougher. I am strongly considering, and have been for a while, moving my business to another company. It may not bother you, but it should. I am 75,000+ per year

I went to the Home Depot in Johnston, RI earlier tonight and was extremely displeased with my visit. I was returning a shower head which had the bath components as well. My plan was to return the item and then purchase the correct item, which would be the shower head for shower only. The cashier, Sherry, was very pleasant and assisted me with my return. The issue, which I discovered after the refund was applied was that the refund was sent to a visa gift card which was used, but I no longer had. I originally purchased more items and also used a debit card for the higher amount, but the gift card visa was chosen by the cashier. When I pointed it out, she tried to void the refund, to then apply it to my debit card, but it would not void. She then called a manager over to assist her with the transaction, but the manager stated that the transaction could not be processed and that there was nothing that could be done. I then stated that I was now going to lose $150.00, and she said there is nothing we can do- we refunded the money. I left the store without the old or new item and without the refund. I find it mind-blowing that the store cash registers at Home Depot do not have the technology to override and fix this issue. I have spent thousands of dollars at Home Depot, but unfortunately feel I would not want to shop there anymore after this experience!

I was looking for lumber. The associates in that department are very helpful! I would recommend this store.

Self checkout is never open in the morning when you want to get in and out quicky

As I explained in the survey, the following employees were extremely helpful, answered all my questions no matter how simple and made my shopping experience less stressful. They are: Bill (paint), Tony (flooring), Sam (custom doors), Bob (hardware), Jack (power tools), Jack (plumbing) and Andy and John (merchandise/MET). Remodeling a house & trying to things yourself is sometimes frustrating, but when you have helpful employees like them......maybe it can be fun?

Store seemed a bit disorganized. I went to buy a dehumidifier labeled at one price but when I brought it to the front of the store to check out it was $50 more. I was told to bring it back to the department to check the price. The employees in the back said it was the higher price. I told them they had a bunch of them in the wrong spot but they didn’t seem concerned. I picked a different one and left. I was offered no help getting the very heavy returning one out of the carriage and no help loading the new heavy one in. Very disappointed. I’m 70 years old.
