The Cashier was RUDE !!! She seemed liked she was DOING ME A FAVOR since I didn't use the Self Checkout which I DO NOT BELIEVE IN FOR ANY STORE !!! She handed me my Receipt an said "HERE YOU GO", instead of Saying "THANK YOU" since I just gave her Employer some Business !!! Then, I Replied "THANK YOU" to her, and instead of saying "You're Welcome and Have a Nice Day" she said NOTHING and INSTEAD STARTED TALKING TO A CO-WORKER ABOUT WHAT TIME SHE WAS WORKING UNTIL !!!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL !!!

Everybody black yes black does not steal. Tell your ucking cashier at the pro desk thanks. I spend to much money as a contractor to be treated like that. Thanks hope somebody reads this.

Employees are very helpful

I looked for matching tile for my kitchen floor. I was very happy when this store had them. I traveled over 50 miles to buy the tiles. I found the exact tile and asked an associate for help. FIrst, I was told that I could only buy a box as opposed to the 10 need. THIS WAS NOT TRUE. Second, the associate gave me the wrong tile. (My fault for not checking but really . . . .) I did not discover the error until I had driven the 50 miles back and put the glue down for the replacement tile. When I called the store to discuss the problem (and hopefully return the tiles), the manager wasn't available. (no problem) But, my call was never returned. The cashier was nice but this NOT a positive experience

The store was clean and some associate helpful. Angie at the customer service desk is rude. Avoid her!

I've been a valued customer of this store for a number of years and I've never felt so dehumanized. Christine from Customer Service spoke loudly and publicly humiliated me. I take respect very seriously and now my experience with this store is now severed. I highly doubt I'll ever come back.

Great store to shop at! People are very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone was willing to help me which I like. Store was clean and organized with clear aisles.

Jim Cagle was PHENOMENAL. He knew the products, was up to date on the current sales, and was very personable working hard to satisfy all my questions and concerns. This man is an asset to the store with the patience of a saint! The store was clean and organized but the most important things to me are the particular product brands I was looking for (which you had) and the fact that all the employees I encountered were friendly and knowledgable!

NEEDED ALL NEW KITCHEN APPLIANCES - OURS WERE FROM WE PURCHASED THE HOUSE 14 YEARS AGO. NOT AN EXPERIENCE I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO BUT IT WENT SO SMOOTHLY. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMENT IF YOU ARE IN THE MARKET FOR APPLIANCES. WISH I KNEW THE CLERK'S NAME, HE WAS SO HELPFUL AND FULL OF GOOD ADVISE.

Home Depot sales associate, James Cagle, helped us with the sale of our dishwasher. He was very helpful and pleasant. I would give him a 10 on a scale of 1-10. I would also like to give sales associate, Ronald Siembak, an honorable mention. We actually visited the store on 2 previous occasions prior to making our purchase on 11/2/18, and spoke to Ron at those times. We were waiting for the Black Friday sales before making our purchase. Ron knows the products well. He was instrumental in helping us decide on which dishwasher to purchase. He's a very nice man. I would give him a 10 as well.

I was forced to use the self check out as 2 employees stood and watched instead of opening a new checkout line or assisting me.

My water heater unexpectedly broke beyond repair. The associates were very helpful in making sure I had everything I needed to exchange it out. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes and had help loading it into my vehicle as well. I was very impressed!

Carlos in the paint department is your go to guy. He is very knowledgeable and is willing to help you with a smile on his face. I had a (2) bad experienced at the shorewood paint department with an older lady and that is why I went to the Joliet store. I will make the extra drive to have nicer service; it is worth the drive.

great place to shop with all the help I get there being a single lady everyone is so kind and helpful from cutting my lumber for me to helping with lighting fixture.

This store is always so clean, well organized and stocked with just about every item I need. The employees are always so friendly and are there to assist you if needed. I shop so much at this store I know where every item I need is located. If I was looking for employment I would consider working at this Home Depot.

Nice store for your home improvement needs and some automotive supplies also. Just about always encounter polite helpful employees.

On July 6th I went to the Home Depot in Joliet to purchase a Frigidaire Gallery fridge. I was told it would be delivered on July 7th by two different store employees, I had ordered from you guys because my fridge had broke and I needed a fridge ASAP so when I was told I could get one the next day I was happy. On The morning of July 7th I called the number for delivery to see when it would be at my home,, image my surprise when they told me very rudely that they had no order for my fridge. I then called the store and talked to the department head Sarah who told me there there was a computer glitch and that the delivery date was wrong and would not be until July 11th. Today July 10th I again called delivery company and was first hung up on by the first person when I called back the second person again told me that they had no date as that the fridge was on back order until July 14th! I again called the store and asked to speak to manager and 2 hrs later am still waiting to hear from her. I now have no other option as nobody else can make a delivery before July 14th and I am still without a fridge! The fact that I had to call and find out what was going on and that nobody could keep me up to date on what was going on is bad business. Then when nobody seems to know what is going on is even worse. I feel that someone needs to contact me and let me know when I can get a fridge !!! I will not be recommending this store to anyone! There are never associates available to answer questions and there is rarely, if ever, an actual cashier available. Nothing says that you don't care about your customer's experience in the store than not having associates available to assist customers in the aisle and then making them check themselves out at the checkout counter.
