The people that work there are generally very nice and knowledgeable management tries to work with you on any issues that you have and they seem to have things that you need.

The Manahawkin store is one of three Home Depot stores I frequently shop at. This store's associates have always been very helpful, the store is always neat and clean, and even in this time of stores not able to get inventory due to conditions beyond anyone's control, the store was well stocked with most items I came in for. A little shy of home insulation products which is understandable with the amount of construction going on in this area.

The associates are not customer oriented. They stand around and stare, they do not greet you or ask if you need help. only see check-out is open and 3 Associates standing and staring at you checking out. HD stopped taking competition coupons which shows company also not customer oriented.

Staff need to know their return policy. Scanning a drivers licence is not on the return policy. I had a government id and was refused even though that is on your policy: RETURN TO STORE We require a valid driver’s license or government-issued photo identification for non-receipted returns and returns generated from purchases made with Store Credits. The Home Depot uses a third-party refund verification system. All returns are subject to verification system approval.

Don't wait on people in the paint department when they have a list of important paint to buy, have an attitude, leave in the middle of an order because your leaving on vacation! Very poor attitude and customer service!

I have been shopping at the Manahawkin NJ home depot for a very long time. From buying and having installed carpets, appliances, windows, storm doors, etc. I always have received professional and courteous assistance.

I love shopping at this Home Depot! It is super close to my house and I always find what I am looking for there. You can go in and get out quickly,

Some of the employees that I dealt with are very friendly and extremely well informed/educated on the said products that I was looking for .

Some very helpful employees and others just don't care. Ed, was wonderful. Sue in customer service was wonderful....but the rest just point in the direction to go. Not helpful at all.

The associates in this store are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The store is clean and I did not wait on a line. It is well organized and an associate pointed me in the correct direction as soon as I entered the store. She looked up my item on her hand held device and told exactly which aisle to go to.

Whenever my contractor boyfriend says he has to go to the big box hardware store, I ask which one. If he says our Home Depot, I usually go. There's always a new product I wind up buying because I wonder how I ever got alonng without it! It's fun! LOL
