Everyone was friendly and helpful

I am so used to going to a store and knowing when a worker does not want to be bothered. Not this store, they are so knowledgeable on their inventory and their customer service is A class. I know I will be help which makes my life easier and theirs in an efficient amount of time.

I ordered a garage door opener online with the installation included for a rental home I have. The company they contract with cancelled the first appointment on the day of the appointment after my tenant took off work. On the second appointment the tenant got caught at work and had to reschedule. They wanted to charge me an $80 rescheduling fee. The store manager at this Home Depot refused to help. He thought it was better to refund me over $300 and loose my business forever (I don't spend a lot there but easily over the course of a year $500). Just seems really short sighted and stupid.

I went to this location today, and could not find anyone to help me pull down a toilet for purchase. I wound up pulling out a damaged box, checked it to make sure everything looked ok, and loaded it myself. In checking out, the person at self checkout opened the box, removed the included wax seal and installation hardware, and basically accused me of theft. As I pointed out, I was buying a different seal, and I wasn't in the mood or have the time by that point to have to summon the useless management at this location. It's been 9 months since I stopped in after the last round of issues I had in the location, and it will be my last. Having spent a couple of hundred thousand dollars with HD over the years, I'm done.

Great ‘employees with a good knowledge base.

I went to HD Matthews to pick up batteries for my thermostat. While looking at batteries, Emilia (HD employee) asked if I needed any assistance and said she would help me check out. I appreciated her assistance, courtesy and professionalism. This is a typical experience at HD Matthews and that's why I return there to shop for all of my home needs.

Excellent Customer Service all aroung.

Shower enclosure (large, multiple parts) ordered. We just found and purchased our items last night but wanted to comment on the exceptional help we had from one associate in finding exactly what we needed that we have been having challenges finding otherwise and the careful check out experience at Customer Service with that 2nd associate's care in making sure it was all correct as well as her explanation of all our delivery options. They gave a tough search a great solution. Much appreciated!

The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Leah. She is very knowledgeable and always goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.

The shelves were overflowing with items.

I needed some salt for my water softener walked in got 3 bags and went to the self checkout the thinking of the big stack of waters I passed when I walked by I wanted some asked the clerk if they had any close to the register she said no so I payed and pushed my cart with my items and picked up some waters and got in line to pay this time it was a real person and wow did it go wrong when I tried to show her I just paid for everything but the water and all I needed was to pay for the water . Let's just say I ended up just saying keep the water and left.

Most of the time I don't look for a sales person, they ask if I need help.

These days you can’t find anyone to help you. We had an employee, Wendy, come up and asked if we needed help and gave us great, friendly customer service.

Bought pine needles and didn't realize until I got home and started spreading them that they were very old. It took a lot more bails because of the poor quality. I'll have to buy more, definitely somewhere else, to finish. They should throw out all pine needles that are in this sorry condition.

An employee named Janet helped me to determine what shade and style of hardwood flooring would be perfect to match an adjoining floor I had. She helped me to determine the amount of cartons I needed as well. I was quite pleased by her knowledge.

The price was right and the size was just what we wanted. There were three of us buying the same freezer at the same time!
