The employees are always helpful and know where to direct you for the things you need.

STORE IS GENERALLY CLEAN SOME TIMES UNDERSTAFFED BUT EMPLOYEES THERE ARE ACTUALLY OUYTSTANDING IN COMPARISON TO OTHER STORES. MOST ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE OR IF NOT THEN THEY ARE HELPFUL AT LEAST. PRODUCT AVAILIBILITY IS GREAT ALTHOUGH ONLINE SEEMS TO BE INCORRECT FOR SOME REASON.

I really like the self checkout for saving me time in line.

I have shopped at other Hardware/lumber stores in town and Home Depot is hard to beat. Their variety of products and fair prices are hard to beat. I have become a familiar face at the Merced Store as I recently purchased a new home and believe me it takes a great deal of visits to make our house a home. Thank you Home Depot

We had some problems with the measurer from seven day stone. First he did it wrong then he lied about us having the sink on site after telling me he wouldn’t need it. That being said between the employees at the store and the installers, I got my countertops and my sink put in today!! Tanya in kitchens and Christine in garden made sure everything turned out just fine and that I was pleased. And I am!! It looks great!! Thank you so much for the help your employees and independent worker gave me!!

Always friendly, helpful staff

I always think of Home Depot first, even though there are other stores closer. I can usually find what I want and the sales persons are knowledgeable.

The staff are friendly and helpful, the store is well stocked. Checkout staff are great.

staff was very friendly, and helpful especally the old guy.

I have to wait over an 1hr just for someone to get me a toilet from high up the shelves . and after waiting and waiting I decided to go look for the forklift driver myself and asked him to help me out.. the driver was helpful i don't know why the missed communication between them ..

Love Home Depot, friendly sales person and when I go in the store to buy something for my house I fine what I’m looking for and nobody can beat there prices.

The folks at this location are always above and beyond helpful, courteous, friendly, making for a good overall shopping experience. They only thing I don't like about any box Store is the limitations on lumber readily available without special order. That is where local lumber yards which are usually family owned have the edge. But things are how they are in these times

The store was clean, and everyone was nice. Over all the store in Merced is usually a pleasure to shop in! This is the only time there was'nt enough product in stock, but I may have wanted more than is normally kept in stock. I would still give the store a good review!

Great store

I recommend this store because this is the only close store near Atwater. But it's not the stores fault they have sucky employees who dont know how to do their job. Everytime i go to this home depot i get no help or service, they either just look at me and walk past me. Or they say they can't help me for some stupid reason. And this isn't a one time occurrence, this is every single time I go to home depot. And I go there alot because we just bought a house so we go there to buy things for out little fixes or renovations.

I am a widowed senior citizen and know very little about hardware items. The employees were helpful in answering my questions and helped me decide which Water heater I needed for my house. Staff was friendly.

Tonight’s visit was quick - the paint department was friendly and quick & the front cashiers were friendly.

Store is amply stocked and the staff has always been helpful and generally will ask if I need help even before I ask.

The went in the morning...the store was not so busy...found what i was looking for...took time to walk around and look at stuff as i like to do projects..both fun and home imporvement. I did have to return an item. I had to ask for assitance in locating product...I had to go back to same desk for assistance in paint... All in all it was a good expierence as Ricardo was very helpful with the return, directing me to where i needed to go, coming over to paint dept and shack my can of paint..then final check out.

The majority of the time everyone is very helpful and if they do not have the answer, they find the answer. I love this store! I could easily go broke in the store if I had the money to buy things I desire. The only thing I do not like about this store is how they contract out for people to do installments. My mom purchased a stove top and an oven there and it was a major production to get everything installed. It took like 4 or 5 different people on multiple visits to complete the project. But the store and employees and the product--4-1/2 stars!

Dont come to this location for SOD, they dont water it and it looks terrible.
