Great store with very friendly and helpful employees. It is a joy to shop here and the variety of products available for the do-it-yourselfer is amazing.

My wife and I always enjoy our shopping visits to this particular Home Depot. Most of the employees are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. And they appear to have pride in their job and care about us as customers. Thank you for that!!

Montrose, CO is extremely fortunate to have a Home Depot caliber store that has completely eliminated our burden of having to drive over 100 miles (one way) to shop at a comparable store in a larger city. We are a "MEDIUM SIZE SMALL TOWN" in sparsely populated Western Colorado and before the arrival of Home Depot, our choices were to occasionally find what we were looking for in a much smaller hardware store with extremely limited stock selection, place a special order that might arrive within the week, or proceed to fuel up for our day long round trip to a larger city to hopefully find what we needed at a somewhat similar store. Our Home Depot has an outstanding in-stock display of endless home improvement items that also offer the consumer an optional choice of similar items to pick from. The floor personnel are extremely knowledgeable with an attitude that will make you feel you are their selection for customer of the day. More often than not, the floor personnel will stop the work they are doing to answer your questions, tell the consumer what aisle the product is on, leave his working area to walk with the customer to personally show and describe the item we had been looking for, or offer to show and compare optional items we might consider that may prove superior to handle the task at hand and possibly result in less cost. I have NEVER seen this store in an unclean condition. The stocked items are neatly arranged on shelves or floor displays with the prices clearly displayed adjacent to the product. In my 12 years of shopping at this store, I have NEVER met an employee of Home Depot who tried to pressure me into a purchase of any kind that I didn't come to the store for in the first place. Everyone from the floor personnel to the checkout staff do their best in making shopping at this store a pleasant experience.

The store is clean and the staff is very helpful and knows the products in and out. I really like the pro desk. JP at the pro desk goes above and beyond for his customers and treats you like family.

I went to Montrose Home Depot and the Associate named August was exceptionally rude. When i asked him for help, he replied that it was "... not (his) department". I asked him who would be able to help. August stated that two associates work in that deparment, but that he (August) was "...not paid to watch them". I went to check out. Shelby at the service desk refused to check me out. I asked to speak with the store manager. Shelby said that no manager was available, and that she would not be able to check me out because it was time for her break. It is my opinion that not only should these employees be serIously disciplined, but that the store manager should be disciplined as well for failing to ensure a positive customer experience, and for allowing employees to continue in their employment while demonstrating such a poor attitude and lack of service.

The store was clean, staff was very friendly, and they are great at the pro desk. Really love JP and how much extra work he goes to for his customers.

Employees are very knowledgeable and willing to help. They do not get irritated when you approach them to ask for help, and they do not make you feel stupid for asking questions.

The Montrose Home Depot store is convenient for me as I live in a rural part of Colorado. I am a DIYer and often need supplies. I like that the prices are more affordable and if the store doesn't have what I need they are very quick and willing to get the product for me. I find the store to be very clean and the employees to be friendly. Most of the time I get the assistance I need.

I purchased a tool bag today and top had bunch of dirt on it, I will have to wash it before I use it. There were two other tool bags on the shelf and they were just as dirty. They should be wrapped in plastic so they are easier to keep clean. I will be posting a picture before i clean it.

I love our local Home Depot and its employees!

Did not have a pleasant experience with purchases of home appliances. Ordered them a full month prior to actual expected delivery date. It was over 45 days to receive any of them. Calls inquiring as to the whereabouts of our purchases were answered with attitude or not answered at all. Then to top it all off, on the last delivery, they charged my card for it AGAIN! Refunded it the next day, but??? Corporate was supposed to open an internal review and get back to us. Never have heard back from them. Same thing with this store, told numerous times, that they would get back to us. Nothing, ever. Had to call back ourselves. Will definitely drive extra distance to avoid all home depot stores.

The man in the door department was MORE than helpful and did help me load a heavy sliding glass door, very pleasant and helpful. Should give him a pay raise.
