We've been shopping here at the Montville Home Depot for over a year and have to say that this is most definitely our go to place for our home improvement needs. The staff for the most part is extremely knowledgeable and will answer your questions providing you with the best method and tools for the job.

Mike was rude while I was just trying to get paint mixed and mind you he did it no problem the other day same color! Horrible and rude he was! Never have I ever gotten treated that way and I go there all the time! Leave your personal stuff at home mike!!!

We enjoy shopping at the Montville Home Depot as we can always count on receiving expert advice as well as superior customer service, we were never disappointed with our consumer needs here at the Montville store.

Short staffing reasons require patience, but, the employees encountered were all friendly and my shopping experience here prompted me to return for future purchases. Store was clean, uncluttered, and easy to shop.

Mel in the bath department was a great help to us today! He got the cherry picker from another aisle, cracked a few jokes and helped get a toilet down from the very top. He was very helpful and had a smile on his face the whole time! He definitely needs some praise from the Montville store for doing such a great and friendly job!

Horrible if I can leave a negative star I would. Employees do not wish to help and pass to another employee and talk in the isle with one another than help customer. Took 45 mins to get someone to take a pallet down fr a piece of wood. No one knows any knowledge of anything and not friendly at all.

I had excellent customer service at the Uncasville store with Brian Dept D23 and Mel. They were extremely helpful. Brian had taught me step by step how to install a pantry system. He guided me every step of the way. I couldn't have done this project without him. Mel was there during my last 2 trips helping me with cuts to the shelving. His customer service was outstanding and is the reason I will continue to shop at this store. Brian and Mel you have out done yourselves. I wish I could give you both 10 stars... 5 stars doesn't do you justice. Thank you both for your customer service. I really hope to see you both again. You really made my weekend! Hats off to the both of you! Cheers!!

Minuus1 star for long checkout NOT due to long line (there was only 1 person ahead of me, but rather lacked of checkout personnel and those present were "busy" or involved with tasks (returns, computer, or engaged by other employee(s).

The store was clean, the employees were friendly and helpful, and it was easy to locate what we needed! Great job!

The Tool Department manager (female) was very rude to a fellow employee and condescending to me. This was at 9:20 a.m. on June 8th. Associates were not appproachable except at the Self Check area.

I usually wait until I am near this HD to accomplish my DIY projects.

Could not get any help in doors despite waiting a while. No manager on the floor. Employees walked by without asking if I needed help. Store is not organized, nor is it clean.

We have three home depot stores in our region. This store is consistently the cleanest and the displays of products are neat and well organized. The employees appear to be more friendly and available to help customers. It even feels like the lighting is brighter and better. We prefer this home depot over the others in our area.

The staff was very helpful and very polite.

Purchased flooring from Home Depot. They sent someone to measure that didn't do their job properly so we could not install laminate flooring and went with hardwood flooring. The laminate was delivered but I had to remove it myself and the delivery person cursed at me on the phone and said he would be there in 30 minutes and was a no show. Then we had a delivery of hardwood that was delivered in the rain and I had to bring in the house myself so it would not be damaged. In fact it ended up being damaged and they had to pick up the wood and get an entire new supply of it. All the while we cannot live on our 1st floor since everything was removed. Then the installers had a Covid scare and we were under quarantine for 10 days and the project got delayed again. They finally finished the job but on the last day the installers put a finish nail into my baseboard heating pipe and caused water damage. It has been 2 months that we cannot use our 1st floor and counting. This has been an absolute debacle and Home Depot has shown almost no customer service or empathy and has been mostly apathetic to our problems.

Many of the workers are extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable (Mike, Juana). Unfortunately I cannot say the same about management. Manager Heather exceedingly rude and malicious towards disabled war veteran who could not wear a mask due to a medical condition. Was barked at and treated with extreme disrespect. Also would not take 10% military discount off because his military ID was expired. My husband and I have spent more than $20,000 here in one month but will be taking our business elsewhere by how horribly he was treated this evening. We will not be back period the end.
