I needed help several times during my visit and was pleased to find helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable associates almost literally at every turn. Great experience.

I asked for clarification from a Home Depot representative and he walked all the way to the other side of the store with me, took down the largest leaf blower I wanted, then respectfully refused to let me carry it. He actually carried it all the way to the checkout counter, and thanked me for letting him be of service. Not that the last time I came to Home Depot was bad at all, its just the respectful decline for me to carry the leaf blower box was a genuine gesture of excellent customer service.

Hailey and Darmesha are two of the most helpful and friendly staff I have delt with on a while at any store. Being aanager myself I was highly impressed with the efficiency of these two staff members. Will definitely be back for any further needs.

The management at this particular location is absolutely horrible; the fact that they have multiple "co-managers" to further oversaturate the managerial incompetence is evermore frustrating and laughable. If you need to go in and out, great; if you need to complete simple, straightforward transactions with any of the associates, great; however if you might need any support or input from management, do yourself a favor and go to literally any other store.

Maybe all the employees here are as helpful and knowledgeable as Shania & Dushawn, but I know for sure that these two will do all they can yo make your experience here positive and even memorable. Some employees inspire the effort to write reviews like this. They have my gratitude.

I would like to say Thank You to Home depot for their excellent customer service today the product i purchased was a duplicate key i was not knowledgeable of how to use the machine and it stated I needed an associate of which was write on hand to assist the key was made it works well I am pleased.

Grace (the cashier) and England (Paint Tech) was amazing! They both offered great customer service, was very knowledgeable about the products, and was patient through my shopping experience.

This store is sometimes underestimated because of its location, but there are a lot of hard working, knowledgeable employees who have been there for a long time. They know their stuff! Over the last year, leadership has changed, morale has increased, and the overall shopping experience has greatly improved. If you haven't been there in a while, come on back!

I am completing this survey to communicate my displeasure in the interaction I had with one of your employees whose apron read "TONI". It was close to closing on the 29th of this month and to help expedite locating an item, I inquired of the representative. I did understand that Home Depot staff were in a "closing mode". The representative took a snard and very condescending disposition suggesting that it's something I could have looked up online. I explained that I inquired as to expedite locating the item I wished to purchase but that it appears that inquiring had been a further hindrance. I expressed that I do surveys and requested her name. She gleefully displayed the writing on her apron and verbally communicated "Toni" and was, from that point, dismissive. I abandoned my search for that item and continued my shopping.....picking up a few packs of screws. From that day to present, I have made my purchases online which is reflected by Online Order numbers W888862814, W888860650 and W888790516. It's Tuesday and find that I need some items quicker than Online HomeDepot can provide. As such, I will be making my trek back to the Home Depot, but do so with EXTREME hesitance and trepidation. I would much rather practice avoidance. I am not unaware and understand the, "all hands on deck", disposition in the closing hours. However, I am not convinced that it should entail being utterly disrespectful to customers. I believe that a reiteration of Home Depots values as in pertains to customer service would serve the organization well.

I had a very positive experience shopping in this store last Sunday morning (hint: a good time to shop. Few customers.) For all the items I needed to buy, each store associate patiently listened to my questions and helped me find the right product. Congrats to those staffers and to store management. (I'm a long time HD customer.)

On this short visit at this homedepot, I was approached by three different store employees requesting to assist me , and they did professionally!!

This store is maintained very dirty around the store and in front. Oddly Enough the toilets are cleaner. The staff will frown upon you if you ask questions and no one is in their particular departments do even if paged they don’t show up. Oh and the ladies in the paint department will just roll their eyes and laugh behind you like you don’t know it even if you ask a simple question as a novice.

I would like to commend Gerry for his professionalism. He went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me in getting my freezer today which was stacked high up on aisle 9 bay 1 behind a pole. I drove from Anne Arundel Co.to the DC where he greeted me..Please commend this gentleman for his service.

Store was clean , got help in the department I was trying to purchase an item, got info of how to purchase on line the item that was not in the store at the time, very helpful printed out a paper for on line purchase for me get my item. Thxs

I will still recommend this store because no other similar store in our neighborhood (Washington DC, 20002). However, one Friday afternoon, my husband and I received very bad customer experience at the flooring department. The person who was initially attending us had minimal knowledge about the flooring products, did not have sufficient people's skill to have a smooth two-way communication, and the next person helping us was very occupied with other task/order she did not even conclude our interaction. Other two people sitting around the flooring department did not care at all about our existence in the location with flooring sample in our hands and clearly looking for help. It was such a bad experience!

I have shopped at so many Home Depot stores; but the one on 901 Rhode Island Avenue in Washington DC takes the prize. It it very neat and well kept. One of the staff - Chanty (I found out later that she is one of the Managers) was walking around picking up items and putting them where they should be, straightening up shelves. That was why I asked who she was cos I am not used to seeing that in many Home Depot stores. The garden section is my favorite cos I LOVE to plant so I always make a beeline to that section when I am at Home Depot; the garden section is so well maintained, the plants were well watered and fresh looking. In some stores plants are thirsty looking and wilting. Overall, the staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you to Chanty and her team.

The assistant managers Jerry and Corey were extremely helpful in getting my problem solved.

Never really have a problem I go in and get what I need and go out everybody usually seems pretty friendly.
