The clean is ok. Find something is easy.

Michael provided excellent customer service by helping us rush an order. He actually stayed after his shift to help us out. We were very impressed and will share this experience within our company.

Clean well maintained departments, easy to find what your looking for. Friendly people who will take you to items not just wave you off or say not my department. Staff seems happy and not like its torture being there. Obviously Newark has great management team .

This store people are very helpful on all field on special desk, contractor desk service or on floor. very helpful.

Mike in the Pro's service is awesome!! If you need to get in and out he's the man.

We needed more paint for our house which was purchased two years ago. We went to the Fremont store because it was closer to my home and they said they didn't carry that anymore. So I went to my favorite which is Newark, and Jim in the Paint Department took care of me with no problem. I was to get everything I needed while he was preparing my paint. Ashley at customer service was extremely friendly, quick and nice.

Associates have knowledge of their products and their store. If they are not sure, they either ask for assistance or look up the information. Mathew at the Customer Service Desk is great! Mathew explained about the order pick up process, and was quick to help, answered questions. When we came back to pick up our product, Mathew was there again and was friendly, helpful, engaged and offered to ask for loading assistance to our truck.

The store was clean and I was able to locate quickly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff to help me. Plus it appeared the store was fully stocked!

Associates greated me as soon as I walked in and asked if I needed any help. They had smiles, were friendly, and looked as though they enjoyed working at the store. There was no one just standing around,everyone seemed busy, but still took the time to greet me or ask if I needed any help. The store was neat and clean, and well stocked. Though the Fremont store is closer to my home, it is worth the extra miles to visit the Newark store. The people there are much more engaged, friendly, and helpful.

I was able to find the products I needed on the shelves. If I could not locate them, there was associates available to help me find them, even if it was in a different department. The store was clean and the associates were friendly. Gene in lumber is very knowledgeable and helpful, so is Nat and Ram in electrical, and Wendy in flooring.

The store is complete of all construction materials and are arranged neatly with proper direction where to find it. The staff are helpful and friendly. The restroom is clean when i got there and located in easy to find place in the store. I love also the gardening section where it is a one stop shop for that need.

Great customer service from all employees encountered during my visit to the Newark, Calif.

I needed to add some tennis balls to the feet of his walker so it didn’t damage his wooden floor. I just couldn’t cut through the tennis balls so they could slip over the walker’s feet. Your wonderful and kind employee, Harvey Pena, heard us trying to get someone to help us. He got off his forklift, pulled out his industrial strength scissors and cut the tennis balls for us. Mr. Pena went out of his way to help. We really appreciate it.

I am 51 and the checker would not sell me spray paint until I showed him my ID. Really?

I could find the products I was looking for easily on the shelf. The store was clean and cashier was friendly.

Store Manager Joe is turning this store to better-He has a good handle of the store. Some employee training is needed in Customer Service and Commercial desk . Overall this store has now become a place to shop. Home Depot Newark rates better than other HIW in the area in customer service.

Lisa and Chris (store Manager) helped me return an item outside the home depot return policy. they searched for other stores that may have had the item in stock and worked with me to get to a solution.

Tne Newark store was very clean and organized. I had already had people out to measure for blinds and I went in to make final decision on either ready made or custom. After discussing with employee, went with the custom and I appreciate her help.

Since I go there but not too many times, I find that it is located not too far fm my home, I somewhat know where items are but I do try and ask workers where items are located if I can’t find it...So far, I find it a friendly,family oriented and well organized Store,,,,,,,,Thank you for a great location. I don’t have to use the freeway to get to your store. Three main streets and I am there,,, PasaoPadra,FremontBlvd.,Thornton.......

I had to pick up a online order from the store but also grabbed a bunch of supplies in the store. Michelle was able to check me out for everything all at once. Michelle really did a great job of getting everything done in a timely manner but also was extremely sweet and helped with everything. Thanks Michelle

The 2 service desk girls, Salma and Michelle are awesome! They really go above and beyond to help out customers. So glad I ran into them
