I HAVE DEALT WITH HOME DEPOT HERE IN NEWARK, OHIO FOR MANY YEARS, AND OTHER THAN SOME OF THE PRODUCT LETTING ME DOWN AT TIMES, THIS STORE HAS BEEN THE BEST OF ANY STORE I HAVE EVER SHOPPED IN, HANDS DOWN. JUST BOUGHT A DOUBLE OVEN TODAY AND IT WILL BE HERE IN ABOUT A WEEK. A VERY PLEASANT SALESPERSON TOOK CARE OF ME.

We bought an entire kitchen package and Susan Barnett made it a great experience. She is an intelligent woman who possesses real product knowledge and is able to give great, thoughtful advice.

The employees are always looking to help evertime I go to the store. They're almost as excited as I am.about the projects that I am working on.

On May 28th I ordered an entry door! That was a challenging experience and it has gone downhill ever since then. I cannot even get anyone to answer the darn phone I have to drive over to the store just to get someone to acknowledge my concerns

Could not find someone to help

Recently went to Newark Ohio HD and stopped at Paint counter for product. ELA was working and 6 customers were in line. ELA explained to all that 1 of the 2 mixing machines was down and she would gradually help all and Please be patient. I didn't mind waiting.

Curtis unpackaged the item we were purchasing and answered all of our questions.

I ordered weed killer and mulch and prepaid. No texts or calls to say the products were in. I called and was told both products were in. When I went to pick up desk 20 minutes later, I got the weed killer but was told no mulch. The woman simply said we don't hold mulch. It's first come first served. I said the paperwork doesn't say anything about that. She shrugged. Not once did she say I'm sorry, not one word. I called the store manager and he seemed aware of the bad service and attitude from this associate. Not sure why she has a job there.

Wrong price sign out from The female manager and another guy didn’t really give a hoot if I made a purchase. The cashier Troy made everything right and should get a raise

Tymon Burghy solved an issue that I thought was hopeless. He went above and beyond in helping me and making sure I walked out of that store a happy man. He saved tomorrows cookout! God bless you, Burghy!!

I bought a full kitchen and I am so happy with the help that I received

bought appliances with black friday deals and susan from appliances was wonderful and went over and beyond to help us today making decisions and purchasing, went over delivery what to expect etc, she took time to make leave happy !

Found everything I wanted. Liked being able to buy a 1" x 6" x 6'.

Was told my carpet was eligible for military discount. Paid to have my house measured. Then when I went to set up my appointment in purchased a carpet they told me it wasn't eligible for the discount. Got nothing but the runaround. I will not shop at the Home Depot anymore

GREAT SERVICE FROM BEGINNING TILL THE END

Shopping Experience was great, the delivery left much to be desired. The driver was lazy, unprofessional, late and rude. He advised me to get a truck and come get my appliances off his truck at the end of my driveway because he could not see that he had plenty of room to turn around in front of my home. Calling Support was of no help. I had to force him to walk the driveway to ensure he could deliver the appliances. All of this wasted alot of time for both of us.

I had a difficult experience trying to return an unopened power tool that I had used a $30 store credit to off set the total cost. If you use any amount of “store credit” in your purchase and wish to return you are not permitted to do so. Luckily for me I was able to be assisted by the manager who after a considerable amount of time was able to rectify the problem. I command the staff of the store for their ability to work through a very difficult situation involving the stores policy.

This Home Depot has friendly, helpful employees that “go the extra mile” to see that you get the items that you went for.

Store associate knew exactly where I could find the item I was looking for. I was in and out in no time. Associates are pleasant and helpful.

Great customer service .

It is easy to shop to find what you are looking for. It is either there or shop on the internet! There is more on the internet sometimes than the store. I would rather want to see the product in person than the internet.

Everyone was very helpful and helped to get you waited on. Good people.

Always had a positive experience at this store except for today. Came in and bought several items including a large quantity of mulch. Paid for it and was told someone would be out to help me load it. After waiting for a while and no one showing up I went back into the store to ask again. I was told by a not so friendly employee that much is not loaded from the outside. I had to go to the back of the garden center and load it from there. I have been coming here for many years and three times this year already and I have NEVER done this. It has always been loaded from the outside. So I got a large cart and went and loaded my mulch from the back of the store and into my car myself. Very disappointed. Makes my want to do my business elsewhere.

Want to enter the most unprofessional HD in the state of Ohio? Well come on in to Newark. Where loss prevention hovers over you and even uses profanity when telling you exactly where to go (btw its not a department found in the store) Employees don't greet you, you have to seek one of them out to ask for help. Of course that's not too hard to do since they are all peeking around the corner waiting for people to shoplift merchandise instead of being more hands on and just helping patrons of the store. I think it's time for a policy change and an employee purge at your Newark Home Depot

The associates were very friendly trying very hard to be helpful... The store is very understaffed.

Very pleasant employees. Seen to really be interested in taking care of the customer. Very clean store.

The staff are friendly and willing to help out. I liked that the Newark Store gave me everything I needed for my paint, some of the other Home Depots did not, 2 different times. They take the time to help you, they are all friendly.
