I am sending a WELL DONE in hiring RODNEY VIVES. He helped us with a gajillion questions regarding blinds and was very knowledgable and thorough. His customer service was EXCELLENT and made the process much easier. Thank you for hiring such a wonderful employee!!!

I only shop here due to limited options being close buy. Customer Service availability on the floor is always scarce and Staff that is on the floor appear to be trained on how to walk fast and avoid eye contact.

A Home Depot rep assisted me locating men's work gloves (three pack).

Try not to go to this store on Saturdays. They are quite busy. Needed a forklift to load some items. Took 45 minutes to get it on the truck. The garden department was lame.

I went to Home Depot Pleasanton to return the kitchen sink that I bought online. I was trying to cancel the order before it arrived but it was too late. So, I waited for it to arrive and took it to Home Depot Pleasanton right away even without opening it. I was the first waiting in the return line. Then, the customer service person names "Clif" was trying to serve the person behind me. So I said "I am before him" and the person behind me also told Clif I was before him. Then, Clif started reluctantly serving me. When I showed the order number on my phone, he bluntly asked whether I was trying to return or pick up. Of course, he must have known that I was there for return as I was in the return line. He typed in my order number a couple of times and finally asked how much I had paid. I got upset and said "Why are you asking when you have all the information in your screen?" Then, he mumbled. From this moment, his arrogant behavior started dying down a little. I also asked what his name was several time. He did not respond while I was asking him several times. When he handed the receipt over to me, he showed his name tag. I am not sure whether he was already upset or just discriminating because I am Asian or he does not think I speak English. Either way, it was really unpleasant experience.

This isn't the first bad experience I have had with this store. I have gone to the Livermore store 10 miles away to avoid the Pleasanton store.

For many years, the Pleasanton Home Depot employees have been SO helpful to me! I am visually impaired and I am NOT a builder, thus renovating my tiny home is a GIANT undertaking! I have received help and advice often while finding the parts and products I need at the best prices available anywhere! the "other" home improvement store employees are clueless and less than helpful! They may be fine of you are after a lamp shade or patio furniture, but if you have something broken or help figuring something out, the blue-store is absolutely USELESS, well, at least at the Dublin, Ca location. Seriously, when a novice like myself knows more than the department employee at BLOWS, you know they are not employing knowledgeable people! Kinda scary even!

This store is my go to store or starting point. Often I find I need to go elsewhere to complete my list of things for my project. But I come here first because it is closer to home. This store is inconsistent in its services. Sometimes I can find things and sometimes not. Asking for help and getting it is hit or miss. And the staff is not as knowledgeable as they could be. But this is a store with hundreds of thousands of items and no one will know them all. When I find an employee willing to at least try for me, I feel it is a good day. Some employees, however, are clueless and can't tell a hammer from a screwdriver. Checkout times vary, but the self check is fast and the assistant there is quick to resolve an issue with the register. Overall, I think this is pretty typical of the hardware/construction business.

this is a good store but you got to go in understanding that you will have to work with the staff they will get to you just chill sorry that just been real then you will have a good time

Seems like the store is set up for male shoppers. It works for me, would like to see a complete facelift for the store as Pleasanton, CA is a great town to be in!

This store offers consistently poor customer service. Floor employees fail in every way to interact with customers. It is nice when an employee offers help and even takes you to the item you seek, as happens in other stores. Communications between employees is non existent when help in a specific department is needed, such as key making, chain or rug cutting, etc.

Rude staff!!! Haley is very rude!!! She don't know how to properly implement protocol. She need more training! I can't believe I'm being discriminated at this Home depot location.

Knowledgeable employees and quality, well organized products make this store a pleasure.
