I can say without a doubt do you have a very willing and capable staff of employees at the Portsmouth N.H. location. Keep up the great work I am very happy to be a frequent visitor of your store. By having the friendly and courteous employees that you do have at your store or you make it very easy for one to make a decision to come back and use your stores. Customer friendly store. It's the way old-fashioned hardware stores used to be where you get greeted and asked if they can help you find what you need. The check out clerk gives you and smile and greeting and again asks if you found all you needed. You will not feel like a nameless number in a big box store.

This is a great store. The employees here are responsive and helpful.

I always find the workers very knowledgeable when I have questions, If they are new employees they always get one of the ones to advise me of what I need. If it is not handled by HD they refer me to where I can most likely acquire the item I am looking for!

They have free workshops covering home improvement projects. The store has a large selection of products. Location is convenient.

We generally find everything we need for our home in The Home Depot in Portsmouth. The location is convenient to our other shopping needs and the store is generally clean and well stocked. Diane at customer service is super fun, professional, and efficient.

I had a great experience at this store! People were easily available to tell me where my items were in the aisles, helped me & then even offered to get me another associate "who knew even more" about the item I was purchasing. At checkout, using the self-checkout was not my plan, but after some encouragement & with the assistance of an EXTREMELY kind, thorough, & patient associate I was glad I did. I learned something & will definitely use it again! Home Depot is not 1 of my favorite stores to have to journey through, but this trip was really painless!!!

products very hard to find. not available. only checkouts available are self check out and you have to use a hand scanner to scan your products (as opposed to just running over scanner). Very nasty-very nasty -no way to clean your hands after either.

Store is great and employees/management are extremely helpful. They take the extra time out of their day to help you so that is why I am taking the time out of mine to write this review!

This location is convenient to my work area so I am in store a lot. No matter what I am looking for, I can find it with or without store employee help.

Sandyvis a great Kitchen Design Consultant who helped me find a great refrigerator which had all my priorities. No other stores could meet my needs like Sandy. She was patient and great to work with.

I am a blacksmith local to the Portsmouth area. I always default to Home Depot whenever I mess something up and I'm in a pinch for steel or welding rods. I have visited this store several times at all times of the day and it is always clean and well stocked. It's a busy store but even the customers are respectful and will stand to the side if you are hauling some humungous thing to checkout. This store can accommodate everyone from new DIY'ers to serious tradespeople. Keep it up and thank you for being a part of our great town.

The store is well organized, clean not hazardous in any way, the isles are wide enough to transport large or long items. The employees are friendly and helpful. Great place to shop!

Mark was extremely helpful and went with us to find the lawnmowers that were moved outside during a rainstorm. He knew all of the products and helped to figure out the best one for us. He also went to get the right fertilizer for our needs. Hannah was very helpful at checkout and was friendly. She quickly helped us and mentioned that we need to register the product.

I was not happy with the fact that I drove miles from Maine to save on the sales tax. When I went to the line for check out I asked the woman if she could apply my Military discount in the self check out line. She said she could but my discharge papers were not acceptable. I told her that you need the discharge paper in order to get the discount card . Discharge papers are actually better. I chose not to do the self check out and went all the way to other end to check out with a person. The woman in the self check out had it in for me and sent another employee( spy) to follow me and observe. When I asked the cashier that waited on me for discount and showed her my papers she asked the (spy) if she could give discount. The spy said no! After the sale I went to customer service spoke to "Morgan" She was very nice but still no discount. I am very disappointed in the petty attitude of Home Depot. Small and childish.

only 1 checkout with a person. the rest are self scan, with no one in the self scan area to help. the scanners have to be picked up, pointed at the right spot on item and then trigger pulled. much harder than the old scanners where you just waved it across the scanner. Had to call someone to help me scan items. very poor.

If you don’t like this store the problem may be with your attitude ; these guys work hard

excellent SERVICE

Customer service is alive and well at the Portsmouth N H Home Depot. It is our "go to" store for home maintenance.

This is a great store where staff members always provide excellent service.
