The web site offered the option of curbside pickup, but when I got there the store said they didn't offer that for the product and I had to come in to get a paper for pickup. The first person sent me to one place for pickup. A second person there (not very friendly) said that place was being shut down and sent me to another place. I didn't find the product there nor anyone to help. A checkout clerk knew nothing and called the first person. I gave up and got a refund, after wasting over an hour with driving and a runaround. Typical modern American incompetence and ignorance.

The Poughkeepsie Home Depot (#1266) is not only one of the best kept and well-stocked stores my husband and I have been to (based on time of need, of course), it’s also one of the HD stores where we have received the best “hospitality.” They say the South is the best for down home hospitality, but since we’ve come from North Carolina we find that HD hospitality is even better here! We’re comparing the Poughkeepsie location to other Home Depot locations because other home improvement chains (chains??? Let’s face it—that other home improvement CHAIN) are not even in the running.

Got a great dishwasher with help from Lisa M, Sully and the team at Home Depot Poughkeepsie. Great customer service, stop and see those guys- you'll be very pleased!

I rented the carpet pro cleaner, the associate went above and beyond to make sure I knew all I needed to know before leaving the store, he greeted me at the door, he offered his assistance, he provided detailed information and gave me additional information if I needed more assistance. He was phenomenal, not too many like him around these days.

I just purchased a house yesterday and needless to say I have been back and forth to Home Depot. Yesterday I dealt with Rhodale he was very helpful and had patience to deal with all of my questions. Today Lisa P helped and she was amazing! Lisa P knew what I was asking for just by me describing the things. I couldn't thank both of them enough. If all associates were like these two life would be great

We could not find the item we wanted. Angie checked the shelves and stock to verify the store was out of what we wanted. She then modified the price on a similar item to make it comparable. Otherwise we would have walked out empty-handed.

I had a great experience. Helpful staff. I generally find what I need each time I shop.

Item I came for was locked up. Employee said there were none. Told her inventory said there were 4. The cage was right up front. I asked if I could go look with her, she said NO. I had to insist before she relented. I asked her did she think my eyes were going to steal something right in front of her? The item was there! No I’m sorry. She simply said “I can’t see up that high” I’m 5’8” and all I did was reach up a little and grabbed it.

I just bought the Milwaukee batteries and the cordless cider and iron from Milwaukee and so I haven’t used it yet I have to charge the batteries but I would love to write a review when I use it thank you

Bought an Aquaboost JUNK! WOULD NOT TURN ON DID NOT GET FULL REFUND

From the floor personal to the checkout, all the employees I encountered were helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Very refreshing.

Walked in at 8:45am on Sunday morning. Greeted as soon as we walked in the door. Associate assisted immediately and we found everything we needed. The cashier was very friendly and speedy. Out at 9:09am. Customer service is top notch!

I have to give kudos to Lisa McIlravry, Kitchens, for helping me on two occasions on the same day. She was leaving at the end of her shift, and she still took the time to help me, and then found me before she left the store to make sure I had found what I was looking for.

Ameena was very Rude. Threw my ID on the counter twice. As well as my receipt and Gift card. i called her out on it but ignored me. never had an experience like this ever. i used to work at the home depot too and i’m shocked at the people who work here.

Isaac and all the associates that assisted me today was amazing. The store was very clean and getting assistance was extremely easy.

I needed to purchase a refrigerator and called other stores including Home Depot Wappingers Falls, where they tried to reach someone in Appliances 6 times and I was on hold for over 35 minutes. The Poughkeepsie Home Depot was extremely customer focused and I spoke with Lesa immediately. Outstanding customer satisfaction and service! Lesa in Appliance's did a great job! Once at the store, both Lesa and Lisa provided excellent customer service and satisfaction!

We went to the store early on a Saturday morning. Got all the wood we needed for our project with a great selection to choose from. Staff was friendly and very helpful to make sure we got what we came in for and got out quickly.

This is my first bad experience at home depot. I returned and exchanged a pack of light bulbs. The bulbs I exchanged for were cheaper then the ones I returned. Cashier Ameena checked me out at return desk. When I asked for the card with the remaining store credit she cut it in half and said no they same price. I should of stayed and argued but didnt care enough about $5 to make a scene. Home depot is great but this employee Ameena is horrible!
