Convenient and friendly!

Very Limited On In Stock Vinyl Flooring Compared To Other Stores.

Look for Seth. He's great. Personable, willing to help and down to earth. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I don't write reviews, but this guys deserves some recognition.

I bought a new washer recently and a new stove prior to that. Both times I did business with an elderly gentleman in the appliance area. He was knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service which I find is very rare in these times.

From the Service Desk to the Pro Desk and each department in between the employees the Rutland Home Depot are knowledgeable and eager to help with any project of mine large or small.

The store was well stocked. Employees were very friendly, courteous and polite. I was looking at an item on the clearance rack and the associate there made an extra effort to help me understand what was in the box and why the item was on the clearance rack which had a very deep discounted price.

The store looked beautiful when I walked in (Christmas and all!) Associates friendly and helpful. Prompt and knowledgeable when paged. I always find something to entertain my self with in your store! Got lost in your beautiful Christmas lights & displays!!! Then the isle that runs along your register lines. Did have a question about an end cap display, but couldn't find an associate at that point picked up some gloves and called it a day..

I purchased a new Toro snowblower less than a week ago. The first time I used it a shear pin broke. I went back to the store to buy shear pins. The employee I spoke to told me Home Depot doesn't sell Toro snowblowers. After showing him the large display signs for the Toro snowblowers he agreed they must sell them. They have no shear pins for the Toros but he said these Ariens pins might work. Neither size matched my machine's pins. Fortunately Tractor Supply took care of me.

Best store in the chain. They are constantly generous with our community. Whether it’s donations to the women’s shelter or giving a customer a sheet of plywood to secure their home after a break in they are great!

Associate Susan was extremely helpful with a situation that had to do with a new house and particular problems in kitchen area. She was trained very well and knew how to write up all of our specific needs and delivery problems.

The employee at the service desk, )her name was Peggy) was very helpful and friendly. very personable. This store would do well to hire AND KEEP more employees like her.

I have used this store to build a house and also for renovations. While everyone in the store seems very friendly and willing to assist you, many of them have a good degree of expertise in building and maintenance. They have offered alternative products and ways to handle maintenance problems. The paint department is excellent. Carol is well versed in the different types of paints and has matched paint so well, its hard to tell where we touched up. While many of these types of stores are similar, the people in this store is what makes it stand out from the rest.

You have a store employee, in your appliance department, that is an invaluable asset to your company. From the time I walked into the store and was approached by Susan Stoutes I felt confident that she would work with me to resolve the issues I was having with a newly purchased appliance. Her whole demeanor immediately relieved the anxiety I was feeling. She had me sit with her why we made the necessary phone calls to start the process to get the problem resolved. The relaxed, positive, knowledgeable attitude exhibited by Susan definitely would would make me a return customer. Also I noticed the leadership qualities she displayed when she was dealing with other customers but other employees she was working with. I cannot stress enough the exemplary qualities this woman has. On a scale of 1-10. 10 being the top. She is a 10 across the board.

I've shopped at many home improvement stores, including Home Depots in many different cities. My experience at the Rutland, VT store has been easily the most pleasurable (and least frustrating) than I've ever had. The service has been excellent, top to bottom, every time I've been there, and I've never had to endure half-hearted attempts by sales staff who barely pretend to want to help you find something. Here everyone seems genuinely eager to help. I've been very impressed by the service there, and I recommend it highly as a great place to shop.

This atore in rutland is always helpful. When no one is around the people in the front always try and find someone or give direction in finding it. Maybe friendlier and more people in site in the back of the store area would help

The only reason I said I would not likely return is because I don't live in the area, not because of any wrong doing or bad experience.

Rude employees who if you can get any help. They send you to the wrong area and then you have to find someone else to ask. Every time I’m at this store I have a hard time getting any assistance. As a handicapped individual I don’t want to walk back and forth over and over again. When employees are asked where something is, they should take you there as then they’ll learn where things really are. When you go by yourself, the error never gets corrected and the customer just gets more frustrated!

This Home Depot is very close to my home, that being said I shop here ALOT! They always have a great well stocked inventory and the staff is always Pleasant. For those reason's, it is why I shop at the Rutland VT #4502 store.

Rutland Store might not be a huge store, but it is big enough to carry the most needed materials, and small enough to feel like a Family Store. Congrats for putting the hometown feel in the Rutland Store.
