Great plant selection, good choices in most commonly needed home items

Most everyone is very helpful and when i was doing a home project a Gentleman knew exactly what i needed and what tools for the job ;-)

Found what i was looking for

The Silverdale Home Depot has always been our go to for home improvements. The staff has been friendly and helpful in giving directions and aiding in finding the right product.

Angel, in the Doors Dept, was super knowledgeable and helped us stay within our budget. She gave us options that we didn't even know existed, thanks to special orders.

I needed plumbing hardware solution for faucet leaks. Silverdale employee “Pat “ was very helpful and patient with me to guide me through what I needed and how my issue can be fixed. Another customer walked up and joined in on educating me on my issue too. Both were very helpful. I left feeling confident and more importantly a feeling of there are good people out there who still care.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. I wish more of them are on duty.

Don't get me wrong, I love this store and I love 99% of the employees at this store. They are helpful, kind, and friendly, but the one employee that I continually interact with in the self checkout line has put a sour taste in my mouth for an otherwise lovely store. I use the self checkout intentionally so that I can bag my items in the order that I want, so that I can avoid unecassary interaction with strangers(especially avoid them touching my items before they enter my vehicle/home) and I can avoid damage to my items because since I'm paying I take care in handling them. This particular employee has now on 2 occasions shoved me aside despite my saying I don't need or want help checking my items. And scanned my items one by one. He takes no care in bagging my items last time he put heavier items on top of dryer vent which led to it being crushed by the weight. He couldn't hear the beep of the scanner for one item and ended up scanning it 6 times before I pointed out that it was going through. He also pushed for me to enter my phone number for my military discount which i have had trouble getting to register to my account (i previously had an employee try to help me get it connected and it still doesnt work), when i told him my number doesnt work he made me enter it anyway, i then pulled out my phone to scan the QR code on my home depot app and he tried to stop me and handed me a pamphlet on the military discount and pressured me sign up for it while he watched. I couldnt get out of there fast enough. If he wants to have hands on and be interactive with customers he should be at a normal checkout line and not the self checkout where people go so that they don't have to have those interactions if they don't want. Other than this one employee I love this store, they are great on prices, the employees are 99% friendly, and they usually have anything I need available in store.

Went to home Depot to purchase a new dishwasher. Keith was very knowledgeable and help me make an informed decision. I really appreciate it how patient he was answering all my questions.

Our experiences at Home Depot have given us the opportunity to see first-hand how associates make a difference. Junior, Danielle, Ashley and Devin stand out like shining stars, helping us with our questions and decisions, always with a smile. This reflects on the manager, who has chosen the best possible individuals for the store.

They always have what I need. Even the specialty stuff.

I generally go to the Poulsbo branch, it is closer to my home. But Silverdale stocks a large selection of appliances. Everyone was most helpful

I bought a guaranteed for life garden rake at Home Depot. a year or so later the steel tongs of the rake detached from the handle. I tried to return the rake and the attendant told me that they no longer sell that particular rake and so he couldn't replace it for me. So much for the guarantee for life that you pay extra for.

Homedepot staff is always friendly and super helpful. I drive further to go to home depot instead of going to Lowe’s.

Effective January 27, Home Depot stopped its tool repair service, including warranty repairs for tools and equipment it sells. If service is an important factor in your tool and equipment purchase decisions, be careful.

The prices almost always beat competitors and the sales are great!

Lynda Monen (kitchen designer) is amazing. She was so patient with our design changes and incredibly knowledgeable with all things in her field! Lynda was very friendly as well. Overall, excellent experience with her!

I have always had a great experience shopping at the Silverdale Home Depot! Courteous and helpful staff every time that I have shopped there!

It’s always well organized. I never have trouble getting what I need and often find things I didn’t know I needed.

At the Silverdale store Melissa and Josh were very friendly and helpful.

Cashier Melissa went way above expectations and learned how to use the tree wrapping machine so I can bring a beautiful tree home for my wife! My wife loves the tree! (all credit for the choice of the Christmas tree goes to Melissa as well because I had no clue what I am looking for as it’s my first real tree) Thank you so much to everyone who helped out as well and I am sorry I do not remember everyone’s name..

We always go to Home Depot in Silverdale first for our hardware needs because they usually have staff that is not only helpful (always) but also knowledgeable.

Thank you Melissa in the paint department for trying to fix the gig harbor locations mistake. You went above and beyond. Great customer service and nice location. Been shopping here for 20 years and will continue to shop here for many more.

I'm doing a remodel and there are three staff at Home Depot that have been a tremendous help to me - They are Lynda Monen, Dave Pikla, and Sunshine White. They have been so helpful and exceptional in so many ways - from product selection, order placement, financing options, communication, and order status updates. They return phone calls and emails!! With their help, I have purchased granite and tile for my remodel. I'll be returning to get new blinds next. I can highly recommend these professionals. Thanks, guys!

We got such great customer service from Amber in your appliance center. She guided us through our decision making on a new refrigerator freezer so professionally and quickly. Even though it was late in the evening she made it happen quickly. It was actually a pleasurable experience because of her.
