Joey, in the flooring department was amazing. He helped me find an item that I was looking for and when it wasn’t in stock, he helped to make sure that someone went to go look for it. When it wasn’t available, he helped me find a similar item, loaded it onto a cart for me, and took me to check out to ensure that I received a fair price for the items that I did choose.

We met two of the best people ever who absolutely helped us with a smile and great attitude. Char and George made us feel good and helped us with our needs perfectly. They are amazing and caring. We always have a wonderful experience here. Always.

Every Associate I came across while walking around the store asked how can I help? They also spoke first to me and I appreciated that. Other locations should take the lead from this store.

Shavon a customer service rep, Carlos the manager and Shu a store leader were all increíbly helpfull people. They took whatever time was needed, and made every effort to help us process our return. Without their help, we would have not been able to accomplish it. Thank you guys!!

There was an employee by the name of Alice in the paint dept, one of the most friendliest people i've come across since living in Chicago while visiting places where customer service matters.

Was helped out right away.

Went into store onSun-March 5,2023@12noon. Had my bicycle n weiner dog w/me.I needed a “milk crate “ to carry my dog on my bike. Mngr.David helped me and got 3 employees (Jose-Chris n D.C) to help attach milk crate to handlebar.Took about 45 min. But they didn’t quit! Jose worked sh hard about 45 to attach crate. But they did it! Left w/my dog in crate. Rode 5 hrs.that day from this location to Navy Pier then home near 31st.beach! 5HOUR RIDE! Was SO HAPPY to have my best friend “Scooby” ride w/me again after leaving California over a year ago! BEST SERVICE EVER! Thanks JOSE-CHRIS-D.C. and DAVID!

I own a Airbnb and I shop here frequently. The staff is always so helpful in helping find items and even helping me to my car.

The entrance door and escalator have been out of service for weeks. It’s completely obnoxious! The shower door aisle never had an employee there after they were called. Cashier Georgia was very nice and calmed me down

I seem to always be shopping for an obscure screw or screwdriver - the employees at this store have helped me out numerous times getting just the right fit. If I had to do it on my own would have taken WAY longer. Love that they have people of all ages and backgrounds to assist.

I prefer this location simply because the customer service is a very helpful & makes the experience that more rewarding. I can't tell you how many times I've come into the store to buy a product that I've never even heard of and walked out the door knowing exactly how to use it. In addition, thanks to the cashiers especially Shavon, who really gets me in and out in comparison to other stores and thts mportant to someone like myself who may visit u guys sometimes multiple times a day..

I needed to purchase a new washer and dryer. My sales rep has excellent customer service. I received top notched service. I was not rushed, asked questions that required a lot of research on models and makes. OUTSTANDING

I recently ordered a carpet installation and was very happy with how things turned out. Five things stood out: 1) The wide selection of materials to choose from, in this case, carpeting/padding 2) Competitive pricing 3) The ability of shop for and coordinate multiple items for our job (in this case paint and carpeting) at the same location 4) The streamlined and transparent measuring/quoting/ordering process 5) Most importantly, the quality of the assistance provided! The Flooring and Decor Specialist at the South Loop Store in Chicago has been AMAZING to work with. Her name is Hope. The job is yet to be scheduled and installed but I have every expectation that these things will go as flawlessly as the selection and ordering process did.

I PURCHASED A HOT WATER TANK AND HAD IT INSTALLED VERY PROFESSIONAL . SATISFIED CUSTOMER. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP AS WELL SHU .

We bought a 100-year old Chicago multi-unit house 5 years ago and it's in a constant state of needing either renovation or repair. And the Home Depot in South Loop is our go-to store for supplies. So we have interacted with many associates in that store in the last few years. I can say without any hesitation that Carlos is the best we have interacted with. He's genuinely helpful and super knowledgeable about the products and the store. Our water heater broke down yesterday and we decided to replace it ourselves even though we have never done it before. Bought the replacement unit at the store. But the new unit is 1 inch taller than the old one, and the water pipes wouldn't fit. So we returned to the store looking for recommendations on how to cut down the pipes and connect to the new unit. Asked a couple of associates but they didn't seem to know. Then another associate pointed at Carlos and said he's the expert. Carlos knew exactly what we need and where everything is. In a short 3-4 minutes, he took us through the couple of aisles for plumbing, picked out the 7 - 8 pieces of parts and tools we need, explained exactly what we need to do, and answered all of our questions. We learned a lot just by talking to him. The parts and tools he picked for us worked perfectly. Now we have a fully functioning brand new water heater. Thank you Carlos!

Most products are there and customer service is decent

I bought a live Christmas tree and no one was available. A couple of nice staff members from another department went above and beyond to help me. One guy worked on the tree in the freezing cold without dressed properly to be warm because he works in doors.

Today, my sales person went above and beyond.

A big "thank you to cashier- evelyn and lot attendant- jacob. both were very friendly and fast. Evelyn saved me from getting beaten up. I am not exaggerating. another customer who insisted in not waiting his turn to check out. he tried to cut in line in front of me. I was too tired to put up with his nonsense. he continued to walk in front of me meanwhile he persisted on making threating remarks to me. evelyn camly redirecd him to another register. jacob was kind enough to load the 4x8 sheet of drywall on top my car. he stayed with me until I was finished.

This review is to acknowledge the service and professionalism that I have received from the Home Depot Staff at the Roosevelt location in Chicago. My encounters with Taurie and Shu has been pleasant, professional. and. Dry helpful.
