I shop at this store A LOT! I average 2-4 visits per month without fail, and spent about an average of $500-1000 a month (I have a lot of projects). The ladies that work in the gardening area are hands-down the best, most helpful and most friendly. One woman in particular recognizes and talks to me without sounding like she's satisfying Home Depot's corporate friendliness policy (or, whatever it's called). She genuinely takes interest and wants to help and take interest.

Even tho far away I prefer it to Lancaster

I was very happy today shopping at Home Depot because I had to ask an employee to get something I could not reach. Without hesitation she got what I needed and was very kind and nice. In fact the 3 different employees we, my friend and I dealt with were very helpful.

I have to say that Shawna is extremely good at her job and I truly appreciate how knowledgeable and courteous she is. You need more people like her

I have been to this store multiple times and the knowledge and customer service of the employees that work here are the best I have experienced. Always willing to help and always well stocked. Service personnel are superb

This store is a testament to how employees can make or break a shopping experience. We moved here from LA where big box and specialty hardware stores are plentiful. When we moved we were a little worried knowing we would be doing a lot of work. We really didn’t want to have to go to Bakersfield and not only do we not even have to consider Bakersfield- whatever we need the employees at the Tehachapi store figure out a way to make it happen.

Just bought some items from for store that I need that another didn't have so I was very happy with my shopping

I purchased a LG Front End Washer, It was delivered as promised, all in good shape and I washed a load right away making sure the washer worked as promised; IT DID, I am totally satisfied, the registration of my new Washer went very easy as well. Customer Service was fantastic in completing my order. Crystal is truly a valued Customer Service Professional

Great Customer Service! From the greeter to the guy that help me locate what I was looking for, and especially Alice at check out were all very helpful, kind helpful and amazing. It was a great experience.

I purchased a live tree for Christmas this year. Then plan on planting it afterwards. The garden shop sales representative really knew a lot about caring for my tree. Vitamins, bugs and so on.

Home Depot had the right amount of product at the store I visited also was greeted pleasantly by store employees, but was not offered any assistance with my purchase to my vehicle, employees did however thank me for my purchase and wished me a merry christmas before leaving the store

It is a great convenience to have the Home Depot range of products locally available. Also the associates are generally both cheerful and helpful. Prices are reasonable.

I went in for a generator. AJ was a great help. Leah W and Maria helped me checkout fast. Dylan P. helped me load it in my car fast. Got home and generator had been used previously. Called and Alex got another one off the top and gave it to Crystal at customer service. So when I drove back to return it, I didn't have to wait just made a quick swap. And faithful Dylan P. doing the carts in 100 plus heat helped me load the new generator in the car. Maybe the only issue would be if something is returned used not to put it on the shelf. Maybe sell the used product at a discount and label it USED. Otherwise, the friendly help of the associates at this store saved the day and made my visit definitely more pleasant. Associates earn a 5 plus star rating. The 4 star is having to return something that was already used and sold as new.

Izzy in the paint department is our go to girl from now on! She’s amazing and was so great with our 5 year old and was showing him how to mix the paint and pick the colors to make our color.

My cashier Katherine was a huge help!

Store has always been clean and organized when I have visited, the staff are friendly and professional in appearance and attitude, never had a bad experience with a return or warranty issue, grateful to have this store in Tehachapi

The employees are always friendly and helpful, they also have treats for our dogs, which is an added bonus. On several occasions the employees have gone above and beyond to locate a product not in stock on the shelf. Much better experience than I have had at some other locations. Highly recommend.
