Consistently receive excellent service at this HD location (not so much at other locations). Must be a very well-managed store.

I've made this my primary home depot because of its location. By now I know where just about everything in the store is, but I can always depend on a sales person giving me the kind of help I need. The store personnel often have a lot of experience about the different departments, and are always friendly and helpful in their guidance and advice. I've never been led wrong when using the advice of store personnel I got help/advice from.

BEST Home Depot. Nicest employees. Chris, Rebecca, Donya, Peggy, Lucia, Lydia, Jeff, Buddy, Josh, Bear, and E.J., ALL really nice and knowledgeable.

I like the store overall. However, the amount of products that are stacked in the main aisle at the front is extremely annoying every holiday. It makes it difficult to walk through to the cashiers and just get by another patron with just a regular cart. This is the main reason I would go to a traditional hardware store that doesn't try to sell everything on every holiday.

Always an Excellent store to visit! The Gardening Department was extremely helpful on my last visit with getting me assistance to maneuver the dolly and load shrubs into my car.

Easy in/out access, very friendly and helpful employees. Store is immaculate clean.

special employee Gary helped us with transferring bricks. He saw us unliading and said " thats not right let me help you"... we are convinced it is people like Gary, Mary qnd Lydia who keep us coming back.

Great store with a great staff. Have found things here that I could not find elsewhere.

Its all about the people! This time Scott was an all star. He is a true plumbing expert and just an all round very nice guy. Helped provide some advice on how to accomplish a temperaty setup for my dishwasher while I was doing a remodel. I had the crazy idea, he had the know how to make it happen. I probably took up 15-20 minutes of this time, but he was pleasant and great throughout. Last time, it was Josh, a very helpful cashier always with a smile one his face. What a team! Thx

By far, this store in the city outskirts of Vista, California is one of the most pleasant "shopping outings" a person is lucky enough to have. Employees that deserve special thanks and recognition are: Entry Greeters: Dave and Sue Check-Out Cashiers: Susan and Donya PLUS: Store was very clean and well-marked. Assistance is available from any of the employees, not just the ones who run specific departments. Finding products is easy, especially if one has.. at least--- half-a-brain

I visit Home Depot Vista/Carlsbad regularly because of the great products and awesome service I get everytime I go.

i love this Vista store, the Garden Department always has the best selection for house plants! i buy too many and have run out of rooom! they are just too great to resist :)

Don't process refunds quickly on appliance orders. Both appliances were damaged and their 3rd party delivery company Temco had hostile workers that they did not take action on and delayed by delivery by another week and that delivery both appliances came damaged. Now they want to give me a store credit instead of giving me back my gift card. You can not return items purchased with a store credit. They are holding my credit card refund hostage until I agree to accept the store credit. I will not.

This Home Depot always has friendly knowledgeable staff. The cashiers are truly patient and friendly. The store is clean, well lit & well stocked.

Hector went well above and beyond to help me choose the perfect light bulbs for my bathroom vanity! After 15 years, I had no idea what to purchase for the replacements! Thank you Hector!!! :-)

Friendly staff, clean, and great selection

I was able to get assistance without being asked. Team Members were familiar with the overall layout of the store as well as products (even outside their respective departments). Scott in particular went above and beyond. He not only addressed my needs, but he also lifted a bulky item down off a shelf and carried it to the register. I was carrying another outsized item. He waited for me at the register and assisted me to my car carrying the heavier item. He was very cheerful and informative besides being extremely helpful. I don't shop at this location very often, in fact Lowes is closer and more convenient. But I have to say that in the past I had a similar experience at Home Depot, Vista which makes me think it's worth the extra gas to receive stellar service.

I am constantly spoiled here, by the sales staff, customer service and checkout...the employees take all the time they need to make sure my needs are met, and questions answered....the older workers have inspired the newbies, and the employees show the respect that the store management team show them....

Pro desk is so very helpful.

Sally in the garden center is great. She greeted me coming in, I mentioned how pretty the flowers were at the entrance. Later Sally came to my rescue at the check outs and took care of my blunder in using the wrong credit card ( not the gift card). She re-rang my purchase so I could get back to work. Called up a manager to credit my account and I was out the door on time. Thank you for great customer service

There are other options in the local area. Choose this store. The aisles are clean, well-lit, and well-organized. I've rarely struggled to find what I need. When I do need help, there's always a friendly and knowledgeable worker within sight. In my opinion this store is much easier to shop than the Oceanside store.
