Bob and Dan were so helpful as were all the associates we came in contact with. For an early Friday, the store was busy, but the associates were always patient and helpful.

Friendliest and most helpful store

Easy in and easy out with a very helpful staff.

Continually receive poor customer service at this store. Paid for a propane refill and waited 20 minutes to get bottle. Asked twice to have someone sent to assist. The person that finally helped had no idea what I was there for and told me to move my vehicle. Every time I shop here it seems to be the same. Prices and merchandise id good but the lack of customer service is unacceptable.

Best staffed and knowledgeable employees in home products I have ever been in. Made to feel at home, no pressure but options that are my choice each time..

#6223 East Haven store Home Depot has the absolute BEST, most attentive, and friendliest employees and contractors/subcontractors. I love this place! Someone always offers their assistance and helps me find and purchase/order what I'm looking for.

The Home Depot customer service and sales associates are very pleasant and helpful. I was assisted in purchasing an outdoor fire pit. They helped me locate, get down from the rack, and put in my car. Very efficient.

I was able to quickly get directed to what I was looking for. I paid for it quickly. I was able to do my business easily.

.. This visit was very good, went in looking for a mower. The floor Clerk answered a few questions, I bought my machine, He loaded it up for me and even tried to help me with a grill part. When I arrived home and tried the mower . I knew then that information was good. the mower did what he stated.

Very friendly and helpful ( Larry and Gwen ) associates without associates like these you would not have return customers.

Whenever I need something at the store, they have it readily available or an employee there to assist me in finding what I need. There is always an employee at the front door to say hello and another to say goodbye as you exit

Friendly Staff

The East Haven Store is great but a bit smaller than the Waterford Store, I really wish there was a Home Depot somewhere between East Haven and Waterford...but the East Haven store just seems to have less inventory than the larger Home Depot Stores.

If you are looking to get windows Bob F is the guy you need to talk to about windows he is great

This place is hit or miss. I think it really depends on what I was there to purchase. When it is something I can get myself from a shelf and take directly to the register it's always pretty smooth. I have bought cement blocks, sod, and other items that we had to transport from the home and garden area and it seems to have a chaotic chain of command for getting anyone to assist or follow through with assistance. I do not want to talk badly about the entire store because it's winter and I never have an issue getting what I need during the cold months. During the summer is a very different story but that is also when you typically see an influx of college students working at places like this and it's probably tough to get them to be as responsible as the full time or regulars.

I honestly couldn’t believe how great the service was in the store. I had to return something the wait was less than two minutes, the person was extremely pleasant & helpful. I bought something with the store credit & the person at the self-service checkout was even more pleasant. I even paid my credit card bill right there in the store and another guy offered to carry my shovel to my car. So many people working in this store!!!

I am a shoreline contractor and deal with many local and national stores. This Home Depot is by far the Best one around. Their employees are always friendly and very helpful. This has saved me many hours over the years by helping me find need materials, etc. They deserve my 5 star Overall Rating.
