Store was nice and clean. Staff was mostly friendly. Woman behind customer service desk named Dee is incredibly rude and unhelpful. She definately promotes the stereotype that home depot employees are incompetent. On the other hand my cashier Jeff was incredibly kind and saw I had a lot to take to my car and offered to help carry it out and load it up even though he seemed like he was the only cashier. Jeff is the only reason I am not giving the store 1 star.

LOTS OF GREAT CHOICES AND ASSISTANCE FOR PLANTING AT OUR LOCAL HOME DEPOT. STAFF ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, FRIENDLY. AND HAPPY TO ASSIST IN FINDING WHAT YOU NEED. WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF ONE OF THE STAFF, I FOUND WHAT I NEEDED WITHIN MINUTES. THE AREA WAS CLEAN AND I RETURNED AGAIN THAT MORNING FOR A SECOND PURCHASE. THIS IS A FIVE STAR STORE.

Great store where the employees do all in their power to be friendly & helpful. Love the way they work to keep material carts & shopping carts in the store/near the entrance, rather than leave them in the parking lot like the other big box store tends to do. Always have a loader available when I need help. Well-trained professional staff speaks well of store management. Have ordered online about 10 times & they make it easy. Keep me notified via email & text of progress of order & when it has arrived at store for pickup.

I shop at the Strickland Rd Home Depot often and I am very please with the selection and the customer service. I would recommend this store to anyone because they pride themselves on being available to their customers.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in this store! I paid $43 for 2 propane tank exchanges at the end of last season, and their propane machine was broken. When I asked inside the checkout girl advised that the machine breaks all the time, and to come back and the number would be good until it had been used. We got our needed propane at a different store, and it took us a while to get back to where we had 2 empty propane tanks at the same time to bring in to get our tank exchanges. When we finally did get back in (yes more than a year later) the manager refused to honor the code and advised it had been so long they could not lookup the code to confirm it had never been used. Basically he said we just forfeited our $43 and were out of luck because we waited too long. Who uses that much propane in the winter??? Had the employee advised us we only had a certain amount of time to do the exchange, we would have asked for a refund at the time. BEWARE! Their customer service is not what it used to be!

Great customer service. Employees are very friendly and willing to find what you need.

The store is clean and some of the associates were helpful. This is a smaller store so I have to go to the larger store at times for quantity and different styles.

This North Raleigh location is the best for having employees with a great attitude toward helping customers. They always greet you with a friendly smile and are knowledgeable of inventory.

Generally, I cannot stand big box stores but the managers in this store have an uncanny ability to hire staff who make the place feel like a corner store. Their employees are off the chart re. helpfulness. They have been there long enough to be familiar faces which says something about how well they are hopefully treated. And if you have a dog, take it with you! Some of the employees have dog cookies in their pockets. I never thought I would be giving a rave review about a big box store that has an uncanny ability to feel like a small, neighborhood store. Bravo to store number 3634! You ARE better than the other HD stores in this regard, by the way. Much better. Please take note of this, HQ!!! It's time to talk to the people "on the ground" to find out what's behind the magic!
