Customer Reviews

Catalina Canyon Noce 18 in. x 18 in. Porcelain Floor and Wall Tile (18 sq. ft. / case) is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 31.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have use this tile and ran into the same problem the homeowner pick up different dialog numbers. Looks like u pick up boxs that did not have the same caliber numbers on them. So they will be a different size. ALL THE NUMDERS ON THE BOXS OF TILE NEED TO MATCH UP OR U WILL GET DIFFERENT SIZES AND SHADE COLORS. I been doing tile install for 30+ years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bathroom tiles I think the tiles are wonderful. We used a diagonal pattern which was difficult to cut on such large tiles but they look great. I read the other reviews about varying sizes but we did not have that problem. Only one tile broke during cutting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Good Floor At first I was skeptical because all the bad reviews regarding floor tiles not being square, but I give it a change and installed over 450ft without any issues. One thing that you have to make sure is to select the same shadow. Floor tiles have different shadows (deepness of the color) and yes it is indicated on the box, so as long as you pick the same shadow number you will be fine you don’t need it to be from the same pallet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DEFECTIVE PRODUCT-DIFFERENT SIZE TILES AFTER HIRING SOMEONE TO PUT DOWN TILES CEMENTED TO CONCRETE;MY INSTALLER REALIZED THEIR NOT LINEING UP PROPERLY AFTER GOING AROUND THE KITCHEN ISLAND. AFTER MEASURING THE THE TILES FOUND 3 SIDES WERE 17 3/4 AND 1 SIDE WOULD BE 17 7/8.OUT OF 24 CASES I HAD 3 TOTAL TO TAKE BACK OF OFF SIZE TILES NOT INCLUDING ALL THE BAD ONES ALREADY CEMENTED DOWN ON THE 1ST DAY. A PRETTY EXSPENSIVE FLOOR TO HAVE IT PARTIALLY WITH OFF SIZE TILES.WISH I WOULD HAVE LOOKED ON LINE TO FIND OUT SOMEONE ELSE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. CAN'T BELIEVE HOME DEPOT STILL HAVN'T PULLED THE PRODUCT FROM THEIR STORES.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Town home upgrade With the support of a contractor friend, we removed the linoleum flooring and replaced with the 18" tile using a brick or staggered layout and haystack sanded grout. The outcome is beautiful, then again I am comparing to the 18 year old white linoleum. Cutting 18" tile is a bit more time consuming. Make sure to get a new high quality blade for your tile saw. Living in MN, the tile was installed over a concrete floor so if you are going to use the area for several years you may want to consider in floor heating as an option. A few of the tiles did chip, so we used those as cutting pieces and for under appliances. Overall I am very happy with the outcome. The sizes of the tiles were not an issue. Other have reported them being shorter but using the brick layout our lines turned out great and if needed you can always fudge the line using your grout spacing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great tile, Poor Sizing Qality Control This is a high quality porcelin tile. It is very durable and good looking and easy to install. The problem is there is variation in the size. Some may be up to almost a quarter inch different in size plus some color variation. You must get boxes off the same pallet that have the same dye lot. Ask the sales associate for help! I learned the hard way!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Think twice before purchasing this tile. I just purchased over 1000SqFt for a rental. I picked this tile due to price and matching bullnose. The installer contacted me due to issues while installing. 1. Tiles are not the same same size making it difficult to lay with a small grout line. 2. He had noticed that the color of the tiles are not consistent. Each box of tile is consistent, but there are three different colors depending on the box. He has now opened every box to sort the tile and will be laying like colors together based upon the room. Way to much effort for him.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sizing is really poor As many others have mentioned, the tile sizing is really poor for clean, tight grout lines. It is very disappointing to find this out laying the floor.
