Rated 3.2 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent purchase We are still learning how to properly clean the stove top around a surface burner. When cooking a large pot of stew the area immediately around the grate was discolored and has been difficult to clean. We will consult the owner's manual again to make further attempts. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Premier 36" 5-burner range with griddle I wish I had something good to report re: this product, but I don't. The enamel chips easily and has a very short warranty; the metal is flimsy and we were not able to find a local service shop through the purchaser or 800# for repairs. I can a lot of food and I cringe when I put a heavy canner on the stove top. The burners wouldn't light, the stove temp was inaccurate and the stove would stop working in the middle of a meal IF it would even light. Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners were ruined for us and our guests. We were without use of the oven for months. The batteries need to be replaced constantly in the igniter. The only person we could get to repair it while it was under warranty was an RV service shop; we've had several parts replaced and several service calls in the 10 months we've owned it. We are buying an older, used 36" range today that we found on-line; not a Premier. I'll feel bad about selling the Premier to someone else. It's difficult to find a reasonably-priced 36" white stove but spend the extra money and stay away from Premier. November 5, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Love the griddle! I replaced a Tappan brand stove that was 50 yrs old and compared to that one, the workmanship of this Premier stove is poor. Storage door does not fit properly. Storage does not have shelf in the middle. Top of stove does not fit squarely witht he back. Screws that came with the stove did NOT fit the holes of the backpanel we had to find other screws that fit! January 29, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product has good features. This stove had the fifth burner and griddle that I wanted, as well as the side cupboard. I didn't want really high burners and these are the kind I was used to. We are still getting used to setting stove temps. Settings must be much lower than you might suppose, but this is just a matter of experience. We are still getting used to the timer, too, as it is a little odd. The stove periodically clicks for no apparent reason, even when not in use, which is slightly annoying. A very picky point is that the black grills must be slotted correctly as they have only one spot to lock in place. They are also slippery, so we have to hold onto the frying pan a moment to make sure it doesn't move. The distance between the oven handle and the oven door is so small that I can't reasonably hang a kitchen terry towel there, but a linen towel just fits. Also, I do wish the griddle cover were the same color as the stove instead of stainless steel. However, overall, I am quite pleased with the stove. We got it just in time for Thanksgiving and the meal was fine. I recommend it. December 10, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Satisfied This stove is really bottom of the line. I didn't expect that. May 19, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by On-line purchase nightmare. The Premier range was of very poor quality materials & poorly constructed: the oven temperature control didn't work, the clock/timer didn't work & there was a gas leak somewhere in it that made it unsafe to use. December 15, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poorly made We only bought this product because our previous (ancient) 36" range finally gave out and this is the only one of that size we could afford. Had we only needed a standard 30" then we would have purchased a higher end brand. This range is not well made. The broiler drawer is slanted, the chrome griddle cover scratches extremely easily, the chrome burner trays are already discolored from the flames on the stove top, and it is poorly insulated. When using the oven, the entire outside of the unit gets extremely hot to the touch and heats the entire kitchen much more so than our previous range. I can't imagine ever being able to use this in the summer even with the air conditioning on! Having said that, it does perform the very basic functions of cooking/baking/broiling, so had this oven been closer to half of the price we paid, then I wouldn't be quite so disappointed. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what I expect the range to be love the 5th burner Just what I expect the range to be love the 5th burner feature and has a extra storage area for baking pans. January 19, 2014
