This stove is really bottom of the line. I didn't expect that.

The Premier range was of very poor quality materials & poorly constructed: the oven temperature control didn't work, the clock/timer didn't work & there was a gas leak somewhere in it that made it unsafe to use.

We are still learning how to properly clean the stove top around a surface burner. When cooking a large pot of stew the area immediately around the grate was discolored and has been difficult to clean. We will consult the owner's manual again to make further attempts.

We only bought this product because our previous (ancient) 36" range finally gave out and this is the only one of that size we could afford. Had we only needed a standard 30" then we would have purchased a higher end brand. This range is not well made. The broiler drawer is slanted, the chrome griddle cover scratches extremely easily, the chrome burner trays are already discolored from the flames on the stove top, and it is poorly insulated. When using the oven, the entire outside of the unit gets extremely hot to the touch and heats the entire kitchen much more so than our previous range. I can't imagine ever being able to use this in the summer even with the air conditioning on! Having said that, it does perform the very basic functions of cooking/baking/broiling, so had this oven been closer to half of the price we paid, then I wouldn't be quite so disappointed.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by snowflakey Premier 36" 5-burner range with griddle
I wish I had something good to report re: this product, but I don't. The enamel chips easily and has a very short warranty; the metal is flimsy and we were not able to find a local service shop through the purchaser or 800# for repairs. I can a lot of food and I cringe when I put a heavy canner on the stove top. The burners wouldn't light, the stove temp was inaccurate and the stove would stop working in the middle of a meal IF it would even light. Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners were ruined for us and our guests. We were without use of the oven for months. The batteries need to be replaced constantly in the igniter. The only person we could get to repair it while it was under warranty was an RV service shop; we've had several parts replaced and several service calls in the 10 months we've owned it. We are buying an older, used 36" range today that we found on-line; not a Premier. I'll feel bad about selling the Premier to someone else. It's difficult to find a reasonably-priced 36" white stove but spend the extra money and stay away from Premier.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cowgirl The only good feature is the griddle.
Top burners are very light weight and don't stay in place while cooking. They don't cook evenly. Paint started peeling first time I used the oven.

I had negatively reviewed this stove last week...the company sent a clock that works great and replaced the porcelain part of the 5th burner. All works great and I love this stove!!!
