I have had my countertops over a year now. I had to have it when I saw it at the store. I'm always scared that something is going to stain them but surprisingly nothing yet! It is more gray than white. I would choose this again.

I am very happy with my silestone stellar snow countertops! They turned out excellent! I have a fairly large kitchen and a lot of counters so I decided to do my island counter in butcher block and the rest of my countertops in silestone stellar snow. It was the perfect decision for my husband and myself. We also ended up getting new appliances (through Home Depot which we love!) and the stainless steel does look good with the countertops (as also mentioned previously in other review). We also did a new undermount cast iron sink from Home Depot which we adore plus it looks great with the counters! The biggest factor I think to making these counters look and fit so good is the company that Home Depot hired to cut and install the counters! They were incredibly professional, competent and did an absolutely amazing job on installing them. My thanks to them and all their hard work!!! We are truly enjoying our new countertops...so good looking and durable!!! In the end I almost gave the value rating a 4 but then changed my mind. These counters are definitely worth their value and there is much more expensive counters out there but we decided that these counters fit our lifestyle the best. Thanks Home Depot!!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rebecca Love my Stelllar Snow countertop!
We purchased this countertop from Home Depot 2 months ago, and we love it! The installer they provided did a great job and Home Depot's kitchen department was wonderful to work with, always keeping us updated and on schedule for the installation.
The countertop is beautiful with a white background with flecks of gray, light green and sparkles. Cleans easily. I don't set hot pans or crock pot directly on it. I clean spills with water or Windex as recommended by the manufacturer. Couldn't be easier!
It looks great with creamy white cabinets and my Arctic Ice (pale aqua) glass subway tile backsplash that picks up the pale green flecks in the countertop. We also used a gray granite composite undermount sink and stainless steel appliances. Love our new kitchen!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Moccasin Silestone "Stellar Snow" -- Only choice for us in a different home
Several years ago we installed countertops of Silestone "Stellar Snow". This pattern is great with white cabinets or gray or yellow ones, and also with stainless steel appliances. The white background with sparkling flecks in the quartz also works well with special areas of black/white granite as might be used on flooring, or an island or a bar for some variety.
I had the pleasure of using the kitchen with this counter surface for about 5 years before we sold the house and moved south. Never in that time did I have a problem with stains from KoolAde, beet juice, pomegranates, spaghetti sauce, etc. I even prepped veggies on the antibacterial quartz with no scarring of the smooth finish--although it dulled a few knives in the process. (I did not prepare raw chicken or meat on the countertop though.) I also note that with this particular pattern of Silestone, I did not see bread crumbs or dust on the counter, and thus ran my hand over it to find what I missed. If your kitchen is open to another area of the house, like my new one will be, no worry about stray crumbs reflecting badly on your habits.
Now we are remodeling the kitchen in a 60 year-old southern home. Right from the start, my spouse and I both remarked, "We must get Silestone "Stellar Snow" for the countertops." Not simply for looks--it looks great--we bought it, used it, liked it, and now we plan to do it again. If that does not testify to the satisfactory experience we had with it before, I don't know what else to add. When we sold that first house, the counters looked brand new, so they are durable and keep on looking great.
Never did we have to seal anything....except the granite tile floors! As far as I'm concerned, the quartz performs much better than granite for counters, and wood much better than granite for floors.
