However, we do not recommend diluting our products with more than 8 oz. of water per gallon (when using an airless sprayer to apply). Please reach out to us directly if you have any other questions.                     A:  Hi gamp, thanks for your question. We don't recommend applying our Premium Plus Interior paint directly over an oil-based paint. Instead, it's best to prime with our Multi-Surface Primer first to seal the oil-based paint before applying our Premium Plus paint as the topcoat. Have a great day! -Christina
