You can measure the square footage of the room by multiplying the height and width of each wall and then adding them together.                     Q:BEHR ULTRA - SCUFF DEFENSE Stain Blocking Paint & Primer does this mean you do not have to use a primer first even though the paint we are covering is a shade or two darker in a brown color. We want to use the color Agave PPU12-04 Satin finish.

                    A:  Hi Bobbi, thanks for the question. Since the Ultra Scuff-Defense Paint has a built-in primer, a separate primer isn't needed. The first coat will act as the primer coat and the subsequent coats would be the paint coat. Good luck with your project! -Ronald
