      Q:Since the depth of the saw is listed as 27.17", I assume this should fit on a 36" depth workbench? May seem like a silly question, I'm just not very familiar with miter saws, so want to be sure there isn't something I'm not thinking of.

      A:  Absolutely, as the dimension includes that silly little sawdust bag in back out to the tip of the black locking handle in front. Mine is mounted on a 32-inch wide tabletop with room to spare.
