A:  I can not answer , except it does use a 20v slide on battery. My 20v battery is several years old and is marked DCB 201. It might be the same type of battery, just newer and there are rumors that a stronger battery is in the work. (20v, but longer life/ higher amperage rating) You can either take the battry to the store and check or return if it not similar.

A:  Yes but it is worth as it lasts for days without a charge especially if you use high consumption tools like a skill or hand saws!
