Q:I have a 12 inch rise, will this work?
by|Feb 16, 2021

Answer This Question
A: Hello,
Thank you for your interest in our PATHWAY 3G Ramp System. ADA recommends that a ramp is a foot long for every inch of rise. Based on the rise noted of 12-in a 12-ft ramp would meet requirements. If you are looking for a ramp the is not as steep a 24-ft ramp would work as well. Our website shows an incline calculator that will show the slope differences.

Q:When you secure the legs with the tiny screws that are shows, is there anything else to secure the legs in place? Does the entire ramp's safety sit on two little tiny screws on each leg? Am I missing something? What happens if the screws get loose...does the ramp collapse? Are there notches or grooves so the screws can rest securely? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

Answer This Question
A: Hello,
Thank you for your interest in our else PATHWAY 3G 6 ft. Ramp Kit. The platform does have two set screws that are the connection point from the corner pocket of the platform to the support legs. The ramp is connected to the legs with brackets. Further details on the ramp connections are in our instructions. It is recommended to periodically check the ramp for damage and tighten any loose fasteners to ensure safety.
