    A:  I wouldn't count on it, especially if you store something tasty inside. The doors are easy to leave partly open by accident. They are not mouse-secure in my opinion.

                A:  Drill a small hole to side and attach it to side but use acorn nut with screw or bolt so there is no sharp edge to catch anything

                    A:  It’s not “air tight” but it does close very tight. I don’t think anything can get in it. Maybe ants.

                      A:  If they couldn't squeeze through, they could easily chew through to get in. I wouldn't bet on it keeping them out.
