Q:How do you know when the oven has reached the set temperature? Is there an indicator light?
by|Oct 6, 2017

Answer This Question
A: There is a light that goes off when the oven reaches temperature, but you'll want a thermometer in the oven because the thermostat is VERY unreliable. Sometimes the oven will be well below temp and other times way too hot, but that's only when it actually heats, because sometimes it doesn't.

A: No. One of our greatest frustrations with this model.

A: Hello, thanks for contacting us. Yes, you have a light on the control panel that will be on while the oven is on and the light will turn off once the oven reaches the desire temperature.

Q:Does Home Depot carry the natural gas version?
by|Oct 6, 2017

Answer This Question
A: When you order the stove there is one order number for natural gas and a different order for propane gas. If you get the propane gas your model number will end in LP if you get the natural gas it will end in NP. Both those ovens come with conversions to switch it the other way also.
by|May 5, 2023
A: Hello, yes Home Depot carries both version, Natural Gas and Propane Gas. Please check the model without the LP at the end and will be for natural gas and the model ending with LP will be for propane.

Q:How do you adjust cooking time and temp with a convection oven.?

Answer This Question
A: There are charts on the Internet that tell you how to do it and there is a book that comes with the stove that explains it very simply. The book basically says when you cook reduce your cooking temperature 25° or your time 25 % but not both unless you're cooking for longer than 1 hour.

A: In my experience, the oven temp doesn’t change at all when you turn on the convection fan. What is apparent to me is that the top of the dish “finishes” or browns much more quickly. Thinner items like cookies would see reduced overall cooking time but not so much for dish-type items. The concept is that the hot air in the oven is circulated by a fan which promotes even temp throughout the oven. It just happens that the fan blows over the top of a dish so unless you cover with foil, the top of the dish (pie for example) will brown significantly quicker. I really like the convection feature, especially for getting a great appearance on dishes right before serving.

A: The engineer at Kucht told me the burners are Italian and German, and that the unit is assembled in South Korea. I Love this stove- I looked at many brands but this one has really exceeded expectations. Also, the Kucht support is the best I’ve ever seen. They actually Facetimed with us to get setting just right.

Q:It looks like this is 40 inches tall, which is 4 inches taller than standard counter height. Do you have to get special counters/cabinets for this to fit in a kitchen as in the picture shown?

A: Mine slid in and matches up very well. I’d be interested to see where that 40” is measured - at the sides or top of the burner grates. Could be at the back rail as well. In any case, it does fit well in standard height cabinetry.
