A:  A. When the set temperature is reached the LG Portable Air Conditioner is designed to cycle on and off to maintain desired room temperature. The thermostat will allow you to set your unit to desired temperature. This model has Cool, Dry and Fan modes. Cool mode is ideal for hot days to cool and dehumidify the room quickly. Fan mode will only circulate air but the compressor does not turn on. Dry mode is ideal for rainy days to dehumidify the room rather than cooling it significantly. Fan speed cannot be adjusted in Dry Mode. The unit also has Energy Saver Mode. When using energy saving mode, desired temperature can be adjusted automatically to save electricity bills.
