A: I would say yes it’s sturdy on its base.. keep in mind it is upright and tall. If it fell on ur pet or if u touched the front of it it is hot... not burn u hot but hot. Mine never shuts off on highest heat setting so I believe I have felt it as hot as it could get. I’ve never knocked it over neither has my dog and it’s in a smaller space
A: Yes. My dog has bumped into it and knocked it over several time. When knocked over it shuts off.
A: n/a. I have no pets.
A: I don’t have pets but if I did I would say yes.
A: I have had this unit for a few years now, and two cats. Have never had an issue. I would imagine an over rambunctious dog would knock it over with a swing of it's tail. Although it does immediately shut off if it's overturned.
A: Click the high/low button to adjust the speed. The button looks like an H and an L with curved arrows between the letters. See photo.
A: On the heater the button next to the power button (on the right side) will change that. Just push it and you can switch the high/low setting.
A: There are some controles that you can set, at least done it and it works, Thanks
A: Hi Jacobo. The button for switching from high to low is the button immediately to the right of the center On/Off button. I think this was the question you were asking.
A: I use the remote.
A: You don't install it. You just plug it in and choose the temp. I don't know about a fan, but one of the Reviews said it did.
A: The heater has a fan that blows the warm air, but it does not have a “fan” for cooling a room because it’s a heater.
A: Yes it does. Great product. I like the remote feature on it as well.
A: Yes
A: Yes.
A: This is the only space heater I'm using and I only have it on when I'm working at my kitchen table. I've never had it on for more than 2 hours at a time. I've never had a circuit breaker blow but then I'm not using any other appliances that draw a lot of energy at the same time.
A: First of all you might have much more going on than a space heater problem. Sounds a lot like an electrical problem and I'd hate to give advice that could cause a house fire. First you should call an electrician and the possible quickest answer would be your circuit breaker is just too low for your use depending on what else is running off it. Second, you might have to choose a heater without a fan. The fan draws extra amps. Also, the heater could be old and defective and you need a newer UL listed one. My first thing is get someone in the house that knows about home wiring before doing much more. If yore setting off your circuit breaker on a small 115v space heater than you might have a whole lot going on else where or need to move something off the breaker or add a dedicated breaker for a single purpose.
A: I have three Lasko Towers, in various sizes.....and each is great in their respective areas. You mention blowing fuses, sounds like you could have overloaded your circuit or possibly a wiring problem. The Lasko is a super space heater.
A: Look at the wattage, this is 1500 watts, which is typical of a good space heater. My advice: take a look at your circuit breaker and figure out what else is connected to the outlet you plug your heater into. Don’t try to use other stuff like a microwave, dishwasher, tv, etc at the same time. It’ll overload your breaker.
A: No problems with circuit breakers at all.
A: Batteries are not provided.
A: Yes. They are common AA Batteries. If it was placed in unmarked box it was probably a return. Its risky with returns...Good luck.
A: No, batteries are not included for the remote control.
A: Come on, get a battery and enjoy a great product.
A: No, it doesn't come with batteries. It uses 2 AAA batteries, most people have them around the house. Worse case go to Dollar General and you can get a big pack for a couple of dollars. You don't have to use the remote to operate the heater. I rarely use the remote.
A: works according to my needs covers the area of my living room and my bedroom. Just perfect I strongly recommend.
A: This space heater is not expensive to and very inexpensive to operate or run .
A: We opened the box, unwrapped the heater, plugged it in and were warm in minutes. The details state it isn't expensive to run at all.
A: If you leave it on all the time, yes, you will notice it on your electric bill. I use mine sporadically only when I am in the room (but have forgotten it on overnight when I am not in that room and I could see my mistake on my electric bill that month!
A: no
A: Hmmm . . . Think about what you keep in your garage. if there is anything flammable, any chemicals, cleaning fluids, gas cans, etc., And your vehicle, I would advise against it because it could start a fire.
A: I don’t see any reason why not. It’s electric and doesn’t generate any fumes
A: Yes, as long as you control the heat level and stay away from the water heater, you should be fine.
A: Yes. Should be no problem
A: Would not recommend if their is gas fumes other wise it would be fine.
A: This heater is approved for indoor use only. Don’t ever use a electrical device for outdoor use unless it says it is approved for it or it has the potential to NOT get wet.
A: No, it is designed for indoor use.
A: No. The fan is not strong enough. These are for inside only in a completely enclosed space.
A: Yes, of course. Just plug it in. It has high heat out put, so if you place it under the table, it might contain heat even better. Lot’s of level variations.
A: For safety reasons, this should not be used in damp or wet conditions. I believe the enclosed instructions will strongly advise against it. Plus, if used outdoors, I would think the heat would quickly be lost in the open air.
A: No fan, sorry.
A: It does have a blower and it can be stationary or oscillating. I have this fan in my office for cold days and I'm really happy with it.
A: Yes, it has a fan.
A: Yes it does and I'm happy with this product.
A: The heat is blown around. I have had this unit for several years and I really like it. No problems yet.
A: It has a fan.
A: This is a heated with fan, either a straight heat stream or an oscillating mode heat stream.
A: There is a little heat that comes out the front grill, but not with much force. I would say it is more radiant heat and it does a great job.
A: It don’t need instalation just pluged it in and thas it!!!!!!
A: Pull up the home depot page search for the heater, add to cart and check out!
A: Yes I ordered my unit online and Home Depot delivered it to my home
A: Yes, fast delivery and easy to set up. works great and takes the chill off my big room.
A: I ordered and paid at the same time - the cost of the heater was enough to get free shipping - it came faster than the anticipated delivery date
