A: Depends on how dramatic of a look you want. Saw an installation with a white grout in a bathroom and it is very, very, bold. We selected a 'Frost' - more in the light grey tones, to tone down the effect a little. Seems tat the lighter the grout, the more of the pattern you'll see.

A: I think the manufacturer recommends oyster, or something like that. I used light smoke, because it has a taupe tone that tied better to my counter and sink (hard to see in the photo, but the light smoke matches the sink perfectly)

Q:What shades of gray is this arabesque tile? Do they lean blue gray, or more of a warm gray?

Answer This Question
A: To me it is more of a warm medium to dark gray. I went with the smaller Fog Arabesque tiles for a kitchen backsplash, but wish I had used these. They are very nice looking in person.

A: Warm gray
by|Apr 9, 2021
A: I would say more of a warm grey. It's pretty neutral, and when I used a light smoke grout, it paired well to my counter and sink.

Be warned, I've read lots of reviews that say some professionals will not install this tile because it is difficult to cut and lay. I had to eyeball most of it because they are difficult to space. You also have to get creative with the wet saw when it comes to cutting around window ledges, countertops (when going down below the counter line behind the stove) and around outlets. I would not recommend this tile as your first tiling job because this was even trickier to do then the tiny little hexagon tiles on the floor in our pictures and much more difficult than the large tiles be installed in our bathroom. Good luck!
