A:  On the weight of the Milwaukee 12.0 high output battery, Per Home Depot’s website the weight of the battery is 3.67 lbs. which was answered on Feb. 12 – 2019 by Milwaukee. Look for the weight on the page for the 12.0 battery.

        Answer This Question

A:  Yes it will.work. that is the great thing about the M18 line. It just won't last as long as a 9 or 12 ampere hour battery

        by|Aug 10, 2020

A:  Hi Mattie! You can use any M18 battery on any M18 tool.

          by|Aug 10, 2020

A:  Yes but it will not last as long or be quite as powerful on the bigger brush pieces. The reason is the amount of current able to be delivered from the smaller battery. There are limits built into the battery as to how fast it can supply stored energy. It will fit just fine and function but the battery will only last about 50-60 percent as long.

              Answer This Question

A:  I have used mine on the fan numerous times. It does set up higher but the weight of the battery keeps it stable.

              by|Jul 21, 2020

A:  The battery will keep the fan from touching whatever surface you set it on as long as it's flat it's pretty stable

Q:I'm afraid to buy another high-capacity, after me and so many others were taken by the poorly-built, problematic, 9.0A. Reviews on this site for this 12.0A are wonderful, compared to the majority 1-star reviews of the 9.0A on Milwaukee's website due to premature failure of the pack. Converted from Ryobi and was severely ripped off buying that 9.0A...never had these types of issues with the 4.0A Ryobi batteries. Just scared, man (lol)...$190 dollars for a battery and they shouldn't fail within a handful of charges and then us consumers unable to get them replaced via warranty. Anyone know what the root cause of the 9.0A's were? Real curious.

A:  I used this battery with my M18 Fuel chainsaw. It lasted about 15 minutes of cutting time. My 12.0 lasted 8 minutes. In my opinion, that’s probably the best cordless 18v system on the market.

              by|Jul 15, 2020

A:  I have two 9.0's and 3 12.0's. No problems with any of them. Been using them for 2 years.

              by|Jul 11, 2020

A:  Not one hiccup or fault so far with this new 12 amp hour battery. It appears to be out lasting operation time endurance for my half inch impact by at least double if not more. This, along with Milwaukee’s most excellent customer service and warranty will keep Milwaukee brand electric tools in my toolbox for quite some time to come.

A:  I haven't timed it, but I've used mine with the 9.0 and 12.0 both. The 12.0 would probably run for 1.5 hours continuously. Using intermittently your probably get 2 to 2.5 hours not counting the off time. I use mine for mining and it lasts me all day.
