Q:How slippery is this floor, I need one that is textured enough to not slip easily. and would prefer wood over vinyl.
    by|Jan 10, 2023

    Answer This Question

A:  Most floors are slippery when a liquid is spilled or applied to the surface of the flooring, but all our flooring has a surface that is above ADA compliants for slip resistance. A textured floor will be better than a smooth floor but will not stop slips. The OptiWood Butterscotch is a wire brushed floor and is a textured floor, so this should suit your needs of what you are looking for in a product. Thank you

A:  If you are referring to an "elevated foundation" as a crawl space, then yes, this flooring can be installed over this. Q:These floors dent very easily. Is it possible to replace individual planks by bending, floor expert repair?
          by|Mar 31, 2022
          1 Answer
          Answer This Question

A:  All floors will scratch and dent, normal maintenance procedures should be followed to help prevent these from occurring. Planks can be replaced in the field by cutting out the existing plank and replacing with another, we would highly recommend hiring someone with experience to do this. If you have any questions, please contact us at 503-582-0848. Thank you

Q:What do people typically do for the stair kickboards? Do they use more of the same, or different material? I'm thinking a real wood kickboard painted white would look nice, but if it isn't possible with this product please let me know.

Q:The top wood layer is beginning to seperate from the HDPC middle layer on a section of my floor. What is the best glue to use to try to reattach?
                by|Jun 25, 2021

                Answer This Question

A:  The planks should not delaminate, but if they do and you want to try and get them to re-attach to themselves, we would recommend using a contact adhesive as a best choice alternative. A plank replacement would be the best option, you can always contact us at 503-582-0848 for assistance on this, or email us at customersupport@wellmadefloors.com . Thank you
