A:  To my recollection this does not have a California property 65 warning. There are additional casings at the Home Depot, which do not have a prop 65 warning, and will work for your door and window application.

                        Answer This Question

A:  I cut the material to size, drilled it for white aluminum siding nails and put down a generous amount of exterior grade silicone caulk before fastening it down with nails. This was followed by carefully caulking of all seams to prevent water infiltration. This method was used on a window in a house I was renovating and seems to have held up quite well.

A:  This product is white through and through. I used it as a base board in my basement, and did not paint the ends. Since I didn't use it outside, I'm not sure how it would withstand summer heat.
