To bottom feed, the incoming wires can enter through the bottom endwall and either go directly into the Main Lugs, depending on the load center interior layout, OR the wires can be fed up past the interior through the gutter area and looped around into the Main Lugs. A:  To my knowledge, you do not need a 'wet-rated' panel for your garage since it will not be directly impacted by weather.

A:  Yes, as long as it's used indoors, it can be used in a garage. A wet rated panel would be used, for example, as a service cutoff for a hot-tub or a breaker panel for a dock.

A:  I installed this exact panel in my garage as a subpanel. I was able to mount it on the wall behind the main panel on the outside of the garage and run the feed wired straight back through the wall. Be sure to check local electrical codes. I suggest talking with the building inspector who will inspect the installation. I had no trouble at all with this box. I used it to feed a 240 VAC Level 2 charger for my Chevrolet Bolt as also a few utility outlets in the garage.
