When installing the ducting, please ensure that there is 15 inches of vertical ducting before installing an elbow, and only use 2-3 elbows to avoid any disruption in ventilation. A:  Hi Jenny, thank you for your question. The 695 range hood model comes in sizes 40" and 46", so there will be extra space if installing into a 48" cover. You may need to add additional material into the empty space so that the hood has something to attach to. Have a great day!
