I purchased two of these lights; along with a wall fan; since I couldn't put a ceiling fan above my bed. I have one light from each fixture aimed across the the room to my closet 14 feet away. It is plenty bright. I wonder if those reviewers who said it was not bright enough failed to realize it is a dimmable light. I'm very happy with the purchase and for my needs could have gotten by with only one fixture.

I have been building an office in my spare bedroom for the last 2 months. I Had created a work space with a custom table and wall mounted pegboard organization, but the room's light was behind me so I needed to find something that I could either hang from above or attach to the pegboard. This is PERFECT! I used 2 left over hooks and hooked right into the mounting holes in the back and it works great!! Highly recommended!!

We mounted this light over our headboard and use it to illuminate a painting and provide reading light for reading in bed. Being able to adjust the light intensity is great and we no longer need to get up to turn off the light. An attractive, inexpensive solution to a common problem.

Liked it enough that I bought another one. This is a corded light that you can use above a counter, mounted under a cabinet, but you’d want to hide the cord. I use mine above windows in full view and hid the cords along the window frames. The built-in dimmer is nice but I use mine at full bright.

Ended up hardwiring it instead of plugging it in, but it works great. It does run VERY hot, though.

did exactly what I wanted but one of the bulbs burnt out about 2 weeks after I put it in, Easy replacement.

This was just what we were looking for, small but bright and with an adjustable switch to dim or brighten the lights for the area. Perfect!

Had these 4 yrs now over my bathroom mirror. Never had to change a bulb ..no issues at all. Easy assemble ..

The fixture was easy to install and; with the dimmer adjustment; provides the amount of illumination of my model train layout I desired.

Very bright light, changed out the bulbs with leds and it lit up a rather dark area perfectly.

I bought 2 of these for a kitchen remodel. Both are hidden by beams and plug into motion detecting switches which also activate other lights. So the plug in feature was the main reason for getting these lights. The system for mounting these lights is frustrating so I mounted them on a board first.

I've owned one of theses light fixtures for many years. It works great and has passed the test of time. I just bought two more. It provides good light, can be positioned in three different angles, no electrical work needed! dimmer is helpful too. Careful these types of lights do get very hot.

The light was easy to install on my garage wall.

Our new lights were what we were respecting but we did not expect the bulb to burn out after one hr. of use. Very disappointing. Had to make a trip to replace.

Wanted to mount fixture on drop ceiling. Removed back plate to make sure where I could drill new holes thru both front of fixture and back plate for bolt to go without messing with inside wires and switch, drilled holes, and mounted fixture to ceiling tile. Ran extension cord with remote off/on "Plug in Power" switch above ceiling tile. Now can turn light off and on using remote controller and unit does a beautiful job lighting items just as I wanted. Nice item for use as well on wall mounting.

My husband installed the lights for me because he bought me a very lovely vanity set for my bed room the lights are awesome they make me feel very important he's an electrician and anything that involves electric work that is his area and he also bought me a long fluorescent light for my kitchen it

I wanted some indirect lighting for my office and bought two of these. (WAY easier and less expensive than installing recessed lighting, or even wired track lighting.) The product is heavy in a good way- feels like a quality product. The halogen lights were bright and didn't buzz at all. But, they give off a lot of heat, (which I expected for halogens), so I replaced the bulbs with the Philips 50W equivalent GU10 LED bulbs which come in a 3 pack. Maybe I'm being too picky, but the only thing that was not up to my expectations is the paint isn't a super-bright gloss white, but kind of a matte white. But overall very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend.

This is fantastic light! I love the adjustable dimmer knob. The only reason it only got 4 stars is because the first lamp I bought and plugged in smoked and never actually lit. Fortunately I had plugged in before mounting it so it was easy to return to the Depot.

It works better than most of the high end track lighting and I would recommend to anyone needing spot lighting and the intensity control works perfectly set the amount of light needed

WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THIS ITEM. THE ONLY THINK WE DID DIFFERENT WAS CHANGE THE BULBS TO DAY LIGHT WHITE, BECAUSE I HATE THE YELLOW LIGHTING WITH BULBS IT CAME WITH. BUT THIS WAS A GREAT BUY FOR US. NO COMPLAINS.
