Generally I can find most items I’m looking for...I shop at this store often because it’s close to my home AND I like the employees...I also have a large collection of Ryobi products and I’ve found that these tools are just right for homeowners and generally the price for the tools is reasonable...my only negative observation when comparing all home centers is that the products don’t seem to be as organized on the shelves as the others...all in all I like the store and I will continue to shop there

Very Clean. Staff is generally very helpful. Avoid the self-checkout when possible. We need to keep all of our neighbors working.

Have done most of our shopping at this location, found this store is the best of other Home Depot and other home improvement stores but honestly it is hard to beat most ACE stores for friendliness

EVERYTIME I COME IN I NEVER HAVE TO SEARCH FOR AN EMPLOYEE, THERE IS USUALLY ALWAYS SOMEONE AVAILABLE TO HELP IF NEEDED.

Employees acknowledged us as we entered. We wanted to look around first. Then we asked for help and a cashier was available to help us. A young worker loaded our chest onto a cart and helped us load the chest into our vehicle. The store was busy, but we found it to be clean and items were on display for us to look at. It was a good experience because we could purchase what we wanted and not have to spend too much time or money for the chest.

Staff is consistenly friendly in person and on the phone.

If you ever have any problems getting something in the store, ask for Eric (he was in customer service/returns when we were there). He was more helpful than any sales person we have ever dealt with.

They sold me a damaged tool box that would not work even after I questioned whether it was a returned item since the wrapping was gone before I purchased it. I was told twice there was nothing wrong with the product before I paid for it. The lid was dented in on two corners and would not open. I also think advertising ladders for $79.00 that never seem to be on the shelf is a con job.

This store has very helpful employees that will take you to the products you are looking for. They don't just point or give you an aisle number. I was able to get assistance and help locating a product I couldn't find. This employee spent about ten minutes walking with me to several departments. The product was in stock and I used the self check out lane. There was no waiting for a cashier. Overall a positive experience. This will be my 'go to' store in the future.

Today's shopping experience was terrible. I came in to purchase 2 gift cards for clients as a closing gifts. No one knew what they were doing when I requested a duplicate receipt for each gift card. After 4 different people told me this was impossible I asked for a manager. 1 of the 4 who could not fulfill my request copped an attitude and began giving me a stare down and was completely disrespectful. I went back to the manager and explained I've never been treated so terrible in a store in my life. This store is only about 5 blocks from my house and I shop here all of the time. After today's experience it will be a long time before I ever set foot in this store again.

Clean and organized store, friendly staff

I have found the store restocks broken items on a regular basis that have been returned but are not being reviewed by employees. I don’t understand why they are not writing these broken items off when they’re returning them and just passing the inconvenience on to new customers. It seems like a waste of everyone’s time and creates a really negative experience

Employee was extremely helpful. I did not have to walk around to find an employee for help, he found me. Selection is good but the excellent treatment is why I will be back.

This is a well-stocked store with efficient and helpful staff members. Workers are well informed and willing to offer suggestions and advice IMy family has shopped in this store for decade and we have never had a bad experience. The store is especially appealing around holidays when decorations are on display. I'm happy to have it near my home in Webster Groves,

I AM pregnant and recentlyu had a sewage back up in my liwer level. With not much money or time to spare. The associates at home depot help steer me in the best decision financially, skill level, and safety rules i was not aware of. They also offered to assist me with my heavy items every time. A great store to get something done. They go above and beyond to help you in the hardware department.

We were shopping for appliances for our new home. Ron Y was extremely helpful and already had all of the appliances labeled with a backorder date which saved us time and helped solidify our decision making. We had not had the same experience at your competitor. He prepared us for all of the little details about an appliance purchase, hoses, door swings, etc during the purchase and made our visit so smooth.

My favorite of all the Home Depot stores in St. Louis

This is the closest store to my home and I visit it whenever I have hardware needs. I have also purchased appliances : a stack washer / dryer and outdoor gas grill from this location. I am always happy the ease of shopping in the store & the associates helpful attitiudes.

I shopped at this store twice within a week's time and both times experienced very poor customer service! Maybe some customers are ok with the self-checkout lanes however, I am not! The computer did not recognize an item after scanning the bar code so, I had to wait for a Home Depot employee to finish the transaction. Am I an employee or a customer? A week later, I shopped at this store again. I waited 15 min for an employee to cut a length of chain for me. I wasn't able to wait any longer so, I ended up cutting it myself. At the checkout lane I asked to speak with the manager and waited 5 minutes for Rachael but, time did not allow for me to wait any longer.

I have shopped at this store for 20 years now. Until now, I didn't have any issues. I stopped by last week, because my fridge stopped working and I needed one right away. I researched it online before I came in. The fridge in question was listed on sale, I had a coupon, and also another misleading thing on the website listed was the rebate. The associate that tried to help me was friendly, however her manager was not helpful and didn't want to assist. He made her revise the sale price back to original so that I can use Home Depot coupon. And no one knew anything about rebate that was listed on the website. I left feeling so unhappy, yet needing this item in my household. I budgeted everything carefully before coming in and I did not have great customer experience. That is unheard of, that a business has to roll back its pricing to original value so that someone can use a coupon. This is not how you mislead and treat your customers. Just very disappointed that I made the decision to make this purchase at Home Depot.

The store was clean and products were easy to find. However, not all employees wear masks or practice safe physical distancing from customers, which increases the risk of spreading COVID-19. I don't feel safe shopping at this store.

With all the issues with CoVid 19 the Sunset Hills store was well organized, allowed customers to come in when our customers had left, kept the flow going with entering and exiting. Also had plenty of staff on hand to help with questions. Check out was easy and even at the self checkout a staff member was there to help if needed

I had to wait 55 minutes to get into the store. Based on what other in line were saying, this has become the norm at this store regardless of time of day. I can appreciate the need for social distancing--in fact, I support it strongly--but many store employees were not wearing masks. Every employee should wear a mark. I think customers should, too, but many customers were not wearing masks. There also were no signed even encouraging this practice. It's not a deal killer for me, but the store was not neat and tidy but had stuff in the aisles, and a number of aisles were closed with no explanation. On the plus side, the store did have what I needed.
