      Terrific customer service!!
      I went in to find some shelving and have them cut down to precise sizing. I was off by just a little bit and I had to bring them back in to get them re-cut and the gentleman Paul in lumber department in the Gig Harbor location was so kind both times he told me the first time if I had any issues, just bring them right back to him and I did and he was happy to help me cut them again. They fit perfectly.!! I also needed to buy blinds for my windows that are a very non-typical size and the lady in the blind department named Sunny was so happy to help me. She gave me lots of advice and helped me through the whole process. I can’t wait to get my blinds this week.!! I also got them on sale!!

            72”x24” Husky work/tool bench
            The most frustrating part of purchasing the very expensive and extremely heavy Husky tool bench was having the confidence the product was in perfect condition before I took it home. I didn’t think I should have needed to make sure all the casters were put on property or the items that I didn’t know it included were all there. The sales lady should have helped to make sure everything was there and ready for purchase before I left. The one most obvious piece that was missing was the handle to raise and lower the table top. I mentioned it to her and she just took one from another unit. I was so distracted by that I didn’t even realize the drawer liner mats and the instructions were also missing, and didn’t find out until I had already gotten it home and stared wiping it down. I returned to the store and found the same sales lady who helped me in the first place. she told me she couldn’t help and that I needed to call Husky customer service. I complied, a little perturbed at this point. I should have went straight to HD customer service, but I didn’t. I googled Husky and found out Husky customer service is HD. Good thing I called in the parking lot of HD. I went back in and spoke to customer service. She helped me and got me squared away with the Husky drawer liner rolls. I went back home to get them cut and installed and on closer examination of my new tool bench I noticed most of the casters were missing the bolts that held them on. I was pretty mad now. So I decided that was enough and to just return the thing. We loaded the beast back onto the trailer and took it back to the store. I explained this whole fiasco to customer service and she made sure I was able to get it replaced with a brand new one that was still in the box. That one was perfect. So yes, it was very frustrating having to repeatedly return to the store just to get a good fully functioning work bench, but in the end I came out of it a very happy customer. The bench is a 72”x24”, very heavy duty and I’d recommend it everyone looking for a unit like it.

              No Traditional Cash Lanes
              This store continually closes all their regular cash lanes and then has associates "help" people out their purchases through the self checkout machines. This artificially inflates their popularity and justifies more of them. Also, this store cannot hire and retain for some reason. A livable wage might not be something they're willing to offer, or perhaps it's a toxic workplace? After months and months of a complete lack of staff, one starts to question the leadership in place.

                  Item not delivered.
                  I bought this item in the store and they said they would have it shipped to the store in three days. Four days later I was told it wouldn't be here for another 9 days. Well that's a Federal Holiday, so I didn't believe that either. Be honest and communicate

                    When we built our home in 2007, Home Depot was there for almost anything we needed at the spur of the moment. We typically shop HD as it is convenient and the employees are willing to help.
