My wife and I were just looking for riding mowers to compare with no real intent to buy. After leaving the "other big box" home improvement store where we both thought they had NO idea or knowledge of their own products we went to the Augusta, ME Home Depot. Levi (the store manager who we didn't know that was who he was at first) asked if we needed help. Levi was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and didn't once make us feel any "sales pressure". It really was a delight to have him assist us as he explained our different options. He answered all of our questions directly and honestly without any sales pitch type language. Rarely do I leave store reviews but Levi was the reason we made our purchase today. It will be a sad day when these type of store's and store managers disappear in our societies online buying future. The Levis of the retail world will be missed.

Easy to find items, friendly associates, and easy checkout process.

The store is the best home depot in the state for me as I am in this store about 4 times every day. The guys at the pro desk are the most knowledgeable people that home depot has give them all a 5 star

They have alot of selection but the staff and procedures for ordering items and getting your items at pick up are just plain below standard.

Love coming into this store. Always greeted with a smile. Always receive the help I need location things.

The store was clean most of the employees were very help full i am disabled and walk with a cane and a limp sometimes when I got to your store some of the employees give me dirty looks when i ask if you folks do military discount. I have had a lady who worked at your store on auburn maine call me a free loader all because I asked about a military discount i have not seen this lady in a while but i do look forward to seeing her again Thank you very much

The store is very helpful in most the departments, we find it's location also very handy. Great values on sale most of the time!

This store is always well stocked, neat and clean. Workers are always friendly and offering assistance. I have spoken to different managers at different times and they always help me when needed. I am in here alot with my business. My most recent visit (2/26/19) I was helped by Diane in Plumbing and cashed out by Vivian, another great experience at this Home Depot. Betsy is awesome too! always friendly and smiling!

As a veteran I have always and was never refused the discount when using my VA ID. Today I was and will never shop a Home depot again.

they have never not had what I wanted. Brandon at the pro desk is one of the most knowledgeable employees you have in this store.

When I filled out the survey I was asked if the store was well stocked and I could find what I was looking for. I was looking for wooden mouse traps. They were sold out. Big rodent problem in Maine this year. I needed to choose a department for the short stocked items. I chose garden.

Look, I'm a 56 yo women trying to save expenses on home repair by doing it myself. I only have a sedan to carry my materials 15-22 miles from my house. The AUGUSTA STORE cuts PRETREATED LUMBER and WATERVILLE LOCATION WILL NOT CUT PRETREATED LUMBER! Plus Waterville is UGLY about it. The prevailing attitude and morale is better at the Augusta store than the Waterville store. The Waterville store seems to have this "SAUSAGE FEST", MANLY MAN ambiance, "I've got the bigger DICK" attitude that doesn't welcome the VIGINA's. My guess is, they are not "getting any" and they have to over compensate.

I like shopping at the Augusta store, store is clean and personal are willing to help. It is easy to find what you are looking for and help is always available.

Employees that have no knowledge of the products in the department where they are working, I was assured that the electrical cable we was purchasing was what we needed and it it was not the right cable, tried to exchange it and found out we could not, which was not mentioned during purchasing or on the website. Very disappointed in this store and this policy , this should have been disclosed at time of purchase.

I recently spent 5 hours shopping in the Augusta maine Home Depot. I had a very long list of items to go through and every time I saw an associate they asked me if they could help. They were so helpful and patient with me. Matt helped me order my appliances and find help with other items. He checked my items out at the pro desk to accommodate my 4 large cart loads , helped push them outside and helped load them onto my trailer, I think he would have helped me bring them in my house if he could have. Super nice and professional. Thank you Matt for everything and to joe in plumbing you were so patient with me and everyone else that helped me I so appreciate a shopping experience like this , I work in retail and I got the kind of service I would give.

Shame on Michael the manager on duty today when I went to buy pellets that were over $1000. He would not honor the price that was quote to me last week and was suppose to be a good price for four weeks. SHAME ON HIM.

I was very pleased with the great service I received from Tyler (I believe) one of the Asst Mngrs. I had a concern but figured it would be too hard to find someone to address it. I was about to leave the store and Tyler approached me with a routine "may I help you?" He was obviously in the middle of doing a task, clipboard in hand in head into it, until he saw me. I took a shot and explained my concern. He listened, made multiple calls to try to address it, and then on his own initiative suggested a way to address it which was satisfactory to me. In addition to this, most of the time he was working on my issue he was picking up product which had fallen from a shelf. I have owned a business. I felt like I was talking with the owner of the store. Excellence is ordinary things done extraordinarily well. I received excellent service. As you would say, "he nailed it."
