Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, and CFLs for recycling.
Home Depot stores sent approximately 5.3 million pounds of shredded paper for recycling in 2022. This has helped the planet by preserving over 63,500 trees, keeping over 16,000 trash bags of solid waste out of landfills, saving over 50 million gallons of water, and conserving 7.8 million kilowatt hours of electricity.
We have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores since 2010.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our customers and associates. This commitment extends beyond our stores to our local communities, as well as the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Read more about our commitment to economic responsibility.
Welcome to the Bethlehem Home Depot. We look forward to helping you start your next DIY project.
Whether you're looking for Husky storage or lighting, your favorite local hardware store has you covered. Our well-trained associates can help you find exactly what you need for your project. You can also check out our Home Depot product locator app, which displays a store map, the aisle location and the current inventory available for the items you're looking for.
At Home Depot, community involvement is important to us. In 2018 alone The Home Depot Foundation committed more than $5 million to disaster response in areas impacted by fires, hurricanes and flooding. We also cover a wide variety of topics in our DIY workshops, where the focus is hands-on learning and providing you with expert advice.
We're happy to serve and provide guidance every step of the way. We look forward to seeing you in our aisles.
Sincerely,
The Bethlehem Home Depot Store Team
