Worst checkout experience EVER!!!!
Clerk was physically and mentally incapable of checking out my fairly large order. Then to top it off, her smug colleague refused to help us until I practically begged him to help. He wasn't busy, just stood there and watched his colleague struggle and me fume about how long it was taking. Then he finally agreed to help, after I complained that as a ProXtra member who has spent over $3000 this year alone should be able to get some customer service. Then he had the gall to ask me with a straight face, how my day was going! I told him, it was great until I get to the checkout line and had to deal with these clowns.

        Was charged 2 in extra for a 10 ft board because the idiot Emily did not know that roughs on boards always have additional length
        Why don't cashier's know that lumber always has additional length so that when they are squared off on the ends you end up with the length of the board, instead I was charged 90 cents more for the rough edges I will be cutting off on a 10 ft board, ridiculous!!!

            Excellent Service at the Boulder Pro Desk
            All of my experiences with the Boulder Home Depot Pro Desk have been exceptional. Professional, efficient and kind staff that go out of their way to get what I need when I need it. I have worked with this store on 2 major projects in the last few years.

                          Don’t go here for countertops
                          Design “estimate” online for countertops significantly different than final price. More expensive than going to fabricators directly and more hassle.

                            Purchased 4 planters. Description was “20In Dark Flame Barrel” Shelf marked $14.98. After completing purchase looked at the total which was too high. Receipt showed the barrels were charged at $34.98. Took a picture of the shelf label, went back to cashier. Told I needed to go to customer service. Went to CS and spoke with Jamie. Her first reaction was to tell me it was my fault for not checking the receipt at checkout. See above… She scanned up the receipt and item on The Home Depot Terminal in front of her. There was a picture of exact item with the same description for $34.98. I was told it was a different SKU and once again she says “It really is your fault because you should have looked when checking out”. HD, so HDproblem, but this woman should not be in a customer facing position. Issue was fixed by Assistant Manager, Dave Swendson, who was great.

                                Better training needed
                                I asked the worker in the section with adhesives for a particular adhesive. He said "It should be there, somewhere" waived his hand in the general direction of adhesives, turned his back to me, and walked away. He didn't seem unkind. It was just like he didn't know what to do.

                                  We had a super complicated and messy return (multiple online orders and paper receipts, various credit cards used to make different purchases, etc.), and Bobbie handled it like a rockstar! She was super skilled, efficient, good-natured, and generally amazing. One of the best customer service experiences of my life. 5 gold stars!

                                    Worst experience ever with installation services
                                    The year 2021 is nearly ending and the cabinet/ installation products and services I bought and paid for Feb/March 2021 is still not completed from Louisville, CO. The first kitchen designer was not trained on code requirements, scope of work was NOT provided, what the cabinet installer agreed to, ended up not following instructions and did whatever they wanted which defeated the original purpose of the cabinets being on casters. Home Depot managed the coordination of the installation very poorly beginning with COMMUNICATION to the customer me and continually ignored questions, inquiries, etc. High employee turnover in kitchen installation. Some progress made in Oct by new employee Michael. Thank goodness for me. I had hoped Home Depot would prioritize the completion of this project to we can part ways.

                                      Nabil, the Boulder store manager is very friendly and helpful, and his wonderful attitude is evident from the top down. He manages by example. Nabil went out of his way to help us resolve an issue. Avery, in major appliances, was also extremely helpful, as was the appliances department manager, Dominick. Michael in appliance deliveries/pickups has also been great to work with. Everyone here goes above and beyond in terms of customer service and for this reason this is our store of choice.

                                        Great employee !!
                                        I bought a sink for my kitchen and the new sink I could not find anywhere except Homedepot. ( I had particular requirements for the sink.) I still love the sink after four months of use. And Steeve taught me which under sink pipes I needed and how to change them for the new sink replacement. I could not do it by myself without him. Thank you, Steve!!

Other stores have a limited supply of sample boards, although you can get a sample mailed to your home. It was really nice to be able to make comparisons between ALL the various options, on the spot! The Sales Associate was knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. Positive Experience.

It's illogical to sort the power tool selections by brand. If I want to shop for a drill, I want to see all the drill options in front of me. I don't want to have to go up and down the aisle to each vendor-demarcated section to compare and contrast drill choices. Can you imagine if the drugstore or grocery store was organized in this manner? You'd have to go up and down the aisle just to compare aspirin vendors or cans of peas or corn.
