When a mistake is made and it is store policy that paint is not returnable, that a store manager is willing to make a exception and make it right.

I recently had to purchase a refrigerator. I had no problem going back to buy a dishwasher because of the great service I received the first time.

In the past, the store has been very convenient to me because of the close proximity to my residence. During the past several months, both my wife and I have noticed that the store personnel have decreased in size making it more difficult for us to find an associate when we needed assistance. Most recently, we are in the process of renovating our kitchen. My wife went to select tile flooring and had a most difficult time trying to get assistance from someone who knew the products that she was interested in. When I went into the store recently to select kitchen cabinets, I could not locate anyone in that department and had to ask someone from a different department to assist me in locating an associate. After waiting for approximately 15 minutes, I noticed a long time employee from the plumbing department who offered to start my request and was then told that the person handling the kitchen cabinets was on her lunch break. After a period of time, the specialist from the cabinets came to assist me. Unfortunately, due to the time frame to receive new cabinets, I had to go with a different company for that purchase. I'm not sure what's going on with this particular Home Depot in Bristol, CT however; it has been becoming more difficult to find store associates to assist.

Customer service was excellent. Spent as much time as I needed. Sales Representative stay with me until I was completely satisfied with the sale and appliances I bought.

friendly people

We like to shop at Home Depot, but have a horrible, aggravating time finding a parking space. The entire parking lot is loaded with cars and we only shop Monday-Friday because we are retired. I called and spoke to someone who said they would talk to the manager of the store, but nothing seems to have changed. It's as if Home Depot were giving away free items, that's how crowded it is. Can you suggest someone view the parking lot and find out what's going on here?

I went in for one item and spoke to JAVED who was a big help to me and very courteous

Received help on the visit from an associate doing a return, getting paint, and selecting trim. All were very helpful and answered every question. Every park spot was full and they still did it with a smile on their face!

Great experience purchasing a Gas stove

I love this store, it's very convenient and easy to navigate. Norm Lagasse is a great asset . He is friendly and knowledgeable.

This store is friendlier and more understanding than other Home Depots in the area.

1. At the Bristol store an employee named Monique in Lighting was EXTREMELY helpful both in finding my item, offering a credit card and checking me out. I wish all employees were that friendly and helpful. 2. As a general issue in more than one store I found your stock status system inaccurate. Looking for a specific ceiling fan. The Torrington store showed 2 in stock, when I got there 15 minutes later there were none. Having to go out of the building to go one line (you really should have a modem in store) I found the next closest store in Bristol had one. This time I called and the employee checked and told me they had 3. both stores were inaccurate. 3. The HD website also said the Bristol store was approx 11 miles from the Torrington Store.It turned out to be 19 miles. "As the crow flies" does no one any good except for customers shopping by helicopter.

Rob in the garden dept was very knowledgeable and actually cared about me as a customer. He’s The real deal. I would shop Home Depot all the time because of great employees like Rob (age 23?).

On the day that my snowblower came into the store because it had failed and the throttle body cease to work the Bristol store stated they would repair it. They did not repair it, they sent it out to be repaired under warranty, and they attempted to extort a $50 fee out of me for a $4 spark plug in order for me to get it returned stating that I agreed to pay that in advance when I did not even know they were sending the machine out. Reality does not weigh heavy on them, and they were extremely rude and ridiculing when I did not want to pay $55 for a spark plug.

Worthless incompetent employees.

Don't like that there is only one registered that is manned by a person. If I wanted to do the entire process myself I would just shop online and never enter a store that depends on machines to give good customer satisfaction.

Excellent experience tonight at this Home Depot. Katelyn the cashier was very kind and helpful and Mike ( who cut my shades to length ) was very kind and most helpful. It’s nice to see people who enjoy their job !

I recently moved to Bristol, before that I lived in Southbury for 15 years. I always went to the Danbury or Waterbury stores when I needed something from Home Depot. Don't get me wrong those stores are very good stores, but the services in the Bristol store is far superior. In the past two years I have been to The Bristol Home Depot store at least 20 times and every time the service was great EVERY TIME. I have been in every department in that store including the return desk and the service and I have never been disappointed. This is a great store.

I only need 1 word to disrobe my experience, AWESOME.

Every thing I know about the store and It's employees is summed up by one word, AWESOME and I know awesome.

Love shopping here. I can almost always find exactly what I want and the sales people are very helpful.
