Wonderful store great selection and great staff

disgruntled employees who take out their anger on customer service. Particular in the door installation dept. It almost seems like the people there are not qualified or subject matter experts in their respective areas. It took 30 mins for someone to come and help me and when he did, he was rude, nasty and didn't take the time to educate me the doors. He kept referring to what's in the system, rather than listening to my needs and answering my questions.

I returned an item and the cashier went above and beyond to find the item and locate me ti let me know it was in stock!

Afternoon shift is the best time to go to customer service, they are always very pleasant and helpful.

There are needed Household products missing (RAID) of which this manufacturer has a large variety. There was ONLY one type of the products. Also Home Depot DID have Scotch Guard but NO STATIC GUARD??

Recently, we have been visiting Home Depot frequently, and have always found what we wanted. We even applied for a Home Depot card and the cashier was very pleasant and helpful.

Employees are useless

The store is my home away from home. Its right by my job and I usually find a reason to swing by it and at least browse once a week or so. I've never had any complaints about the availability of merchandize, cleanliness, or even check out lines. Associates have always been friendly and knowledgeable. Yesterday I went in to buy a circular saw to resize my raised garden bed. I happened to see some pieces of wood that were the perfect size and would cancel my need to do any cutting. When I checked out the total was more than I thought it would be, not wanting to hold up the line I took my purchase to the car and then looked at the receipt. Sure enough the price for the wood was more than what I'd seen it at in the store. I went back in and indeed saw that the wood was 9.99 per unit, I asked a nearby associate and he also stated it was that price at first. However when he scanned it, it came out that the wood was indeed more expensive and it was in the wrong bay. I left the store again and called a friend to let him know I would not be stopping by to pick up his work bench since I wouldn't be doing any cutting. My friend happens to be a former Home Depot employee and he advised me to go back inside and explain the situation to customer service. I reluctantly did this ( I hate returning things the entire process puts me off). The young lady at the service desk understood the issue. I would have to go back to square one and find an affordable circular saw, re work my plans since I'd already measured and planned the new garden out in the store using the wood that I had purchased. She said I could be refunded the difference in price and told me to wait for the manager. The manager (Walter) arrived, took one look at the receipt, told me the 9.99 was for the smaller 18 inch pieces and almost immediately started walking away from me. I had to walk after him to explain to him my point of view. It wasn't one piece that was in the wrong bay, I took 12 of them and there were still more left. If I see a 75" TV with a sticker for $100 I know its a mistake. I saw a stack of wood that was the size I needed and the price seemed reasonable so I loaded it up. I spent 45 minutes drawing up new plans on a piece of paper according to the wood that I found, and now I would have to scratch that and begin a new because of the stores mistake. Even after all this if Walter had just taken the time to speak to me and apologized for my time wasted I still wouldn't be angry enough to spend time writing this. The fact that he made me have to chase after him, and insinuated I was lying by telling me there were no associates that matched the description of the one that I spoke with is what made me angry. The fact that I was left embarrassed there in front of the customer service associates, and didn't even want to stay there long enough to return my purchase is why I'm this angry. The fact that I can no longer walk onto that home depot because I can't trust management to make things right if I were to make a purchase and have an issue with it and wish to return it is what makes me angry.

They lied to me about materials they did not have in stock. Instead they told me they have over 1000 pieces at their warehouse. When i placed the order with the fastest delivery only half of my stuff came in. They delayed my project excessively and lied to me right in my face.

Had such a great experience today. Went to my local store and was treated with respect. Not all stores treat customers like old days. Today, the costumer service attendants were very friendly. I'd like to also compliment Sandria for going out of her way to grab me a cart since she saw me walking in pain and struggle to carry my two big bundles of paper towels. you don't see that kind of customer care anymore. Thank you Sandria, Jazz AND Rafael for going the extra step to find my receipt for my adjustment.

Had one of the best experiences there a few nights ago. Many of the workers seem happy to be there and I got all the help I needed very quickly. I was able to get help a few times from different workers. It seems like the workers in my local Home Depot (Bronx Terminal) hide from customers, contrary to the Bruckner Boulevard location. In the Bruckner Blvd location, I was able to find a worker in orange right away whenever I needed help and they never hesitated to assist. This is my new favorite Home Depot. 11/10 recommend.

The store was well stocked and Jennifer made our trip easy and quick by knowing her stuff and being very kind by checking us out. Will definitely be coming back.
