The cashier was pleasant

If I could give it minus stars I would, no help in the isles and some of the isles are such a mess you trip over things

I was buying a storage tote but there was no lid. I asked an employee who went above and beyond to help me. After climbing a ladder and getting a motorized lift, he found the right lid. I was very happy.

I was assisted during my check out by Diane. She was extremely helpful and was very pleasant.

I was in a hurry while shopping in the garden center and Nayeli did a great job while checking me out. She was very Friendly and Fast ! Definitely coming back !

My situation is no different than anyone who walks in your door. People need things for projects they really don't want to do... My reason is that I discovered a "furbaby" was going blind and having an issue seeing the stairs leading to the lower level. So my simple project for my only day off was to put a carpet "stair-pad" on each step and secure it with double-sided industrial tape. Once at the store I thought... how can I secure a "carpet-step-protector" without painting the 13 stairs first... the stairs are painted off-white currently. Though if I paint the stairs I might as well paint the hallway. My simple project will now take 4 hours. Melissa was supportive of the project and recommended things to simplify my job. At the register, I asked to speak with the Manager on duty. I wanted to make sure someone knew that Melissa went out of her way to get me the right product for the job. When telling Chris the manager, how inspiring Melissa was and a project that started off so simple and would get so time-consuming was worth it because truly this project was to help a dog that's going blind, see the stairs better. Ask him for yourself what he did next. It was mind-blowing! I will never shop anywhere else!

The store is always well stocked and the personnel are knowledgeable about their department.

Fantastic help from very willing employees! From the time I walked in the door to the time I walked to my van, there were people helping me through the whole process. I couldn’t find a couple of things and they helped me. They wanted a tree they didn’t have and they helped me get the floor model. I couldn’t find wreaths and a gentleman helped me. I had three cart loads and one of the ladies even helped me get out to my car! This is a fantastic Home Depot!

No matter what I am buying - large purchase or small - I get fantastic help from the Associates at this location. I usually have no idea of how to get to the end result and I am always grateful at the time and education I get from these Associates.

Store personel should wipe down scanner handle at self checkout after every customer, not at 1/2 hour or hour interval at best! Covid is still around,

This store is always very clean and neat, and the staff is always very helpful and friendly. I'm always greeted with a smile too. Everything is organized and easy to find! Any questions or concerns you have they answer to the very best of their abilities! I always find what I need in stock and if I can't, they help with looking at the online store to see where the closest Home Depot has it! I do all my shopping here for goods for work and home!

Recently shopped at store# 1948 - Carpentersville for replacement appliances. Store associate Steve #SXW4931 had been very professional, answering all of my questions. Experience had been made less stressful.

We moved into our (newer) home about 3 years ago... Home Depot saved us time, money, and a lot of headaches. Everything we needed we bought at Home Depot. Also, the 2 guys that installed our built in microwave/oven and the 2 guys that delivered our refrigerator/freezer -many thanks to you.

I called in an order at Pro at 3:30 pm yesterday for pickup at 6:00 am this morning and nothing was done. How can your pickers not pick a couple 2x4s and some drywall sheets? It’s not that tough. Luckily, I got some good help from Eddie, Beth, and your lumber guy who ran around and picked the order for me. I have guys standing around. What should have been a five minute visit turned into a forty minute visit. I called for the MOD Tim to come and talk to me. I was there 40 minutes and he couldn’t take the time to come over and see me. Three years ago, I did $300,000 worth of business with you guys. Year to date this year, I am at $52,000. Why? Because your delivery system sucks and so does your service. God forbid I need a quote on anything. I will continue to look for other chain stores to do business with.
